Description
Lavender is well-known for its calming and soothing properties not only for the mind but for the skin too. This Penny Lane Organics Natural Deodorant is made with four simple ingredients: pure french lavender essential oil, cold pressed coconut oil, baking soda and organic corn starch.
Features:
NOTE: People often confuse baking soda with the baking powder which contains aluminum. Baking soda (Sodium Bicarbonate) does NOT contain aluminum. Store in a cool place. If deodorant gets too warm, the coconut oil will begin to change consistency. Simply place in the fridge and it will be good for use again!
Warning: Do not use immediately after shaving or waxing the armpits. Baking soda can be irritating to some people. If irritation occurs stop using the deodorant and apply a soothing natural cream or balm.

Only deodorant I use
Don't know what I'll do when this deo stops being made... I guess just go back to making my own.
That's what's so great about this stuff-- really feels like it was made with simple ingredients in someones kitchen. Yes, it can be a bit crumbly (because it's a natural product) and so sometimes a bit inconvenient (I don't travel with it for example and use a more expensive [less] natural stick with more bonding ingredients that I can just throw in my bag) but I cannot overstate how effective this deodorant recipe is and so easy on my sensitive skin.
I do wish they'd switch to a paper container but alas
10 outta 10!

Works but crumbles
The deodorant is pretty effective but way overpriced considered it's made out of a few simple ingredients and that half of it will crumble and go to waste. I wish it didn't fall apart so easily.

Natural smells nice
It is very dry so it needs a little water before applying. They should use more coconut oil in the mix so it’s not so dry. It smells nice a little chalky but it is a natural deodorant.

Dry & crumbly. Does not glide on smoothly, breaks off and crumbles everywhere. However, the lavender scent is pleasant.
