Flour made from sprouted grain has been ground from a living plant, not the seed. The sprouted grain is dehydrated and millet at a low temperature to preserve newly formed enzymes, making its living nutrition bio-available. This ancient grain artisan flour has a subtle, nutty flavour and bakes with similar texture and end result as Whole Wheat Flour. People with wheat sensitivities may find Spelt Flour easier to digest.
Use as you would in any normal recipe. Anita's Organic stone-ground sprouted wheat flour makes an excellent addition to breads, cookies or pancakes.
