This stuff is AMAZING! We tried everything to resolve a nasty diaper rash that led to open wounds on our newborns bum (in addition to cloth diaper safe natural creams and lots of bare bum time, we had tried monistat, canesten, sudocreme, and 2 weeks of prescription hydrocortizone, all with very minimal improvements). The diaper rash had been going on for 4 weeks when a pediatrician recommended Ihle's Paste (and that we stop using everything else), and we saw an astonishing improvement in 2 days (you need to stick it out though - there was very little improvement the first 2 days, then suddenly it was mostly cleared up). We couldn't get other barrier creams to stick to the wound, which was oozing slightly, but this is so thick that you could get a large clump to stick. Amazing stuff, and much cheaper than other diaper rash creams.
