The silky, hypoallergenic exfoliator is non-comedogenic and fragrance-free, paraben-free, sulfate-free, alcohol-free, paraben-free, phthalates-free, and dye-free. The nourishing formula is made with hydrating polyhydroxy acid (PHA), and rich oat oil.
Directions: Apply a quarter-size amount to wet or dry skin. Massage gently to remove dirt and impurities. Wipe off or rinse with lukewarm water. Gentle enough for daily use.

Super gentle facial exfoliator
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I really enjoyed using this Aveeno Calm + Restore Nourishing PHA Exfoliator. I was very surprised that this exfoliator had no gritty feeling at all, instead it felt creamy. This product is labelled as fragrance free and I would say that's mostly accurate but I did detect a slight oat smell. I really liked that this was designed for sensitive skin and is hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, paraben-free, sulfate-free, alcohol-free, phthalates-free and dye-free. I find that this did not make my skin oily which was fantastic and left it feeling fairly soft. I would consider getting this again.

Disappointing
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have very dry skin and it can be a bit sensitive. I usually love aveeno products but this one was a miss for me. I did like that it was hypoallergenic and fragrance free. However it left my skin feeling greasy and did not rinse off well. It felt filmy and grimy almost. My skin did feel hydrated after use so I can see that it protects the moisture barrier but my skin did not feel clean at all. It claims there is exfoliating properties but I didnt feel like it exfoliated at all. Overall I wouldnt buy this as there are better aveeno products I have tried before that do the same thing better.

Good exfoliator for eczema-prone skin!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I really enjoyed testing this gentle chemical exfoliator on my eczema-prone skin. I didnt find it irritating, no burning or itching while using the product. I have fairly rough skin from severe eczema breakouts and this exfoliator did help soften it but not to the extent I wouldve liked it just over a weeks use. I will continue using it to see if itll help with my skin (arms and legs) to soften up and lose some of the scaly texture. The product is scent-free which is nice. I applied it before I showered, let it sit for about 10 minutes then washed off with soap at the end of my shower.

PHA exfoliator safe for breastfeeding moms!

The Aveeno Calm + Restore PHA exfoliator is exactly what I've been looking for as it uses PHA, which is perfect for breastfeeding moms as it doesn't get absorbed into the skin like AHAs and BHAs do. It has a slightly runny milky consistency, non-forming, and scentfree, which I love. It leaves my skin feeling clean and hydrated without the irritated, overdrying, tight feeling. It doesn't sting like traditional chemical exfoliators do and doesn't leave my skin flaky. If you want to feel extra clean, I would recommend using a face wash to remove excess oils prior to using the exfoliator.

Gentle cleanser
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is such a gentle cleanser I cant even believe its an exfoliator. Definitely not what I would have expected when using an exfoliator. This cleanser is so gentle, it is milky in consistency, and when applied, there is no abrasion at all. I wasnt sure it was doing any exfoliating, but then after I used it a few days, I noticed my dead skin cells were shedding more readily. My face feels great after using it, and it hasnt irritated my face at all. Sometimes when I try new products, it flares up my acne but this one didnt. I love that it is fragrance free and good for sensitive skin.

Love this exfoliating cleanser
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This exfoliating cleanser is very gentle on my skin. I love that I can use it on dry skin as well as wet. Anything makes things quicker for me is great in my book. This exfoliator doesn't have any large abrasive bits like other exfoliants, so it gently exfoliates without damaging your skin. It doesn't feel like it's stripping all your oils from your skin either. Which is fantastic as I hate the way other exfoliates make my skin feel tight and uncomfortable.
