My skin is so happy!
Historically I have had very unhappy skin - it's very sensitive, and is either very dry or very oily. It never felt smooth, and I never had any real "glow." I received a small sample of Aveeno Absolutely Ageless Restorative Night Cream, fell in love immediately, and went out and bought some for myself. It feels so nice going on, does not cause me to break out, and leaves my skin feeling soft and supple. When I wake up in the morning, my skin looks refreshed and dewy.

This product gave me a sunburn rash.
I used the aveeno sensitive skin products and I have never had an issue with aveeno before. I wanted to try this night cream but after trying it, the following day my skin broke out in a sunburn rash with whiteheads, itchy, red raised bumps. I'm not trying to apply hydrocortisone to my face to get rid of this hideous rash. I am super disappointed with this product and I wish I had looked at the reviews since it appears I'm not the only one who experienced this.

Soothing for dry, sensitive, rosacea skin types.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This product absorbs nicely into the skin, leaving it feeling light and silky. No heavy, greasy feeling like other restorative night creams. It was so light I also used it for day use (with my skin type I often do this), but this product was more optimal for it. I liked that there was no heavy odours, and because I have dry sensitive skin with rosacea I liked how this product balanced my skin and soothed it.

HORRIBLE
Like the other reviews with a 1-star rating, I too had a reaction. It started with an itchy, rash on my neck. After two nights of using the product on my face back to back, my entire face was filled with bumps, it was swollen, it was hot, it was itchy, it was painful. Now, two full days after that, it is still somewhat swollen, still splotchy, feels awful and has dry flaky skin all over it. Let them fix the recipe in this product before buying!

Had an adverse reaction: red and swollen skin
I used this cream last night and when I woke up today, the skin across the bridge of my nose and above and on the sides of my lips were very red and a bit swollen. I am so glad I didn't apply it around my eyes.
I've been using Nivea night creams for years and I've never had a reaction. I was excited to finally try an Aveeno night cream as I've heard so many wonderful things about this brand, but now I'm afraid to use it again.

This product made my skin feel silky

I tried the sample and believed that it increased my skin's moisture content. It felt very protective from the elements and I did find that the product lasted 24 hours, just like the Aveeno oatmeal body lotion. I may purchase this product in the future when I use up my other lotions.

Very nice night cream

But this cream felt very light on my skin and somehow soothing and smoothed it. It's nice to pamper myself with it at night. When I stop using it for a bit, I'll see the difference I suppose, and that will tell me definitively whether I want to keep using it.

Amazing product!

Chemical Burn
I also had a similar experience as several others have had. After using this product, it felt as though the top layer of my skin had been burned off. My face was brilliant red for a week. Very painful and uncomfortable.
I've used many other Aveeno products in the past so was expecting a positive result with this one as well. Unfortunately, that was nowhere near the case.

Nice product

I have not noticed any difference in appearance of my skin, but sample only lasted a little over a week, probably not enouugh time to see a difference.

Pleasantly surprised!

I will use up the sample and make a decision whether to switch. In general, I am positive about Aveeno products- effective, natural, and cost-effective also!

In love with this product!
I absolutely love this night cream! The smell is amazing, not super strong or anything, just a subtle blackberry scent. The cream itself is very light and doesn't feel heavy or greasy on the skin. It spreads easily and a little goes a long way. The jar is packed with product which is amazing for the $25 price tag. Highly recommend!

Not good for me
I use other Aveeno products and love them, but I had a terrible reaction to the Absolutely Ageless Restorative Night Cream. My entire face and neck became inflamed and itchy. I don't usually have bags under my eyes, but did while I had the inflammation. It took three full days/nights to clear up. Sorry for the bad review Aveeno :(

Skin irritation
Have used aveeno moisturizers for years!
Wanted to use this ageless line but after 2 nights, woke up with itchy blotchy face. Eye lids were actually swollen from irritation. Have stopped using but still skin remains irritated and itchy, having to use betaderm. Disappointed.
Also found the scent overpowering .

Rash!
I love and use Aveeno products daily. I just purchased and started using this night cream to help with signs of ageing. After one use my face and neck broke out in a terrible red rash. I'm not sure if I got a bad batch or if the product is too harsh for my skin. I cannot recommend this cream as a consequence.

I have been using the moisturizing cleanser, the daily moisturizer and the night cream in the Absolutely ageless line for a couple of years now. I love it all! This is a great product!

It Delivers
I received the sample to try for 1 week, so I did. It's 1 week later and I cannot believe the difference. I've tried other products that promised results and delivered none, so I was skeptical. In one week, the lines are already reduced. I'm so please and, the product is so reasonably priced.

Love this night cream
I noticed a difference in the first night. I woke to more supple hydrates glowing skin on my face and neck. After one weeks use I noticed a significant difference in my just beginning fine lines! After a month of use I can hardly tell I was starting to get fine lines around my eyes.

Best night cream I have found
I had been searching for a proper night cream that didn’t make my face react or breakout while still giving the moisture I need, ie no flaky dryness. This is now the third time I have bought this and no matter winter or summer I have had consistently happy skin in the mornings!

Light & moisturizing
