(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I like Aveeno body lotion so I was excited to try ultra-calming daily moisturizer with SPF30. I have somewhat sensitive skin that will also break out easily if I use wrong skin products. This moisturizer wasn't a problem at all. I don't know how "calming" effect it could have on other sensitive skin but I liked how non-greasy it felt on my skin and my skin was definitely NOT irritating to my skin. Also the fact that it has SPF 30 means it protects my skin against sun (which will also irritate my skin). It is good for daily use and good for under makeup as well. Overall recommending this product.

I am so happy with this product!
It helped reduce the redness in my skin and it did not irritate it at all!
Despite a couple minor breakouts, which I get when changing facial products, there were no negative effects.
The scent was minimal and it spread well on my washed and dried skin. I used it after a toner and serum and only got a little beading of product.
I did not try this under foundation so I am not sure if it would provide a smooth look.
I will definitely be buying this moisturizer in the future.

Not worth it
For how much I paid for this product, I am very disappointed. Like others have said it leaves a film on your skin and doesn’t feel like it even penetrates your skin. I end up having to add a different moisturizer with it because my face feels tight after applying it. It says it’s fragrance free but it has the strongest chemically smell to it. It also has squalene in the ingredients (silly me not to check more closely before buying) which seems like an outdated and pointless ingredient to add as I’m assuming it’s not plant-based or else they would specify. Another added bonus is that it makes my lips completely numb so that’s a fun treat.

Very disappointing
I bought this Ultra Calming Moisturizer with SOF 30 when my previous Ultra Calming SPF 15 ran out and I have never been so disappointed in a product. This stuff is so thick that the pump does not draw it up half the time and you end up having to open the bottle and squeeze out the product. I wasn’t thrilled with the SPF 15 version but I never had that sort of problem with it and now think I probably should have stuck with it. It is very draggy on application and does not smooth comfortably into the skin. Very disappointed in this product, would never buy again and would not recommend to anyone. If I could rate it lower than one star, I would do so.

I really wanted to love this product since it is a 2-in-1 moisturizer and sunscreen and a mineral sunscreen at that. But alas it was not for me. There is a significant white cast upon initial application which dissipates as you work it into the skin (typical of mineral sunscreen). Regardless of whether I wore makup or not over this moisturizer by midday it will have pilled up on my chin and cheeks so if I touched my face it would come off in clumps. As the weather changes and gets warmer maybe my opinion will change but for now I would not recommend it.

I have used it solidly everyday since I’ve gotten it and I’M TOTALLY IN LOVE! After I’ve finished washing my face, I put on this moisturizer and it’s a little on the thicker side but spreads out so nicely, isn’t oily at all which is beautiful in itself and I love that it’s SPF 30 since I burn so easily in the summer. I will absolutely be purchasing Aveeno ultra-calming moisturizer again after I finish the sample. My skin is softer than ever and super never dry anymore!! Love! Love! Love!!

I was excited to try this product I received free for review from Chick advisor, as I have sensitive skin that's tend to break outs,leaving those areas inflamed and sore. When it arrived I started that night! I used for a week straight,and my opinion didn't change from first use,to last. While it feels nice upon application,it tends to leave skin feeling coated,and doesn't feel very moisturized at all.It did,however,calm my redness from the breakouts and not leave my skin feeling sore after applying,as many lotions can do.I went back to using Ponds for sensitive skin,which I love

I really enjoyed the texture of the moisturizer it blended in nicely and wasn't greasy when you applied it. It didn't feel like you had any moisturizer on while you were wearing it. It had a subtle scent which was nice and it definately calmed me. I can see myself using this product. I would definately recommend it and I will pay full price for it as I feel the cost is reasonable. I also liked the packaging that you can lock the pumper knowing it won't accidently pump out. Overall great product!
