Disapointed, not ARES 2

I don't know if the medication is working as it is supposed to. However the condition is not getting worse, It's a small price to pay for extending my eyesight. My right eye has been blind for 30 years, and I will do anything to help my left eye remain healthy.

I bought this as it is the new formula that was used in the AREDS testing for macular degeneration. The only one I could find so far in drugstores. In fact the only one I could find this is in this drugstore. I have to take this for ever or at least as long as I have my sight. I can only go by the studies done as to the helpfulness of this formula. However, there is no cure and no other option. I will keep taking it and like being able to order it and having it delivered so promptly

I am very disappointed that older people who would benefit from this product and have to take it for the rest of their life, have to pay this price. I am sure that many cannot afford it.

I wrote a few months ago about this product and how foul it smelled in the bottle and in my hand when dispensing it twice a day. I have since bought 2 more bottles from and they did not have the same smell. So it must have been strictly limited to the first two bottles. I have since also bought the same product on vacation in TN and NC and those pills do not smell of fish.
So I am revising my review. Thank goodness.
As for the efficacy of the product [which B & L claim is a continuing study] I will not know the result for a few months. It will hopefully show that my wet AMD is static and also that it has not spread to my other eye.

I think it is the best, for its components

This is not a positive review but it is the truth. I am now on my second month's supply of Bausch and Lomb PreserVision 120 capsules, taking 4 a day. I have hated fish since WWII and have not eaten any since. I am nauseated by the foul smell of the capsules as they come from the bottle. I put 2 into the cap as I don't want to touch them and afterwards have to wash my hands. I don't know why they have to smell of fish on the outside of the capsule because the 8 samples the eye doctor gave me do not smell of fish. So I am holding my nose and swallow. Hope it helps my wet AMD.
