I broke out in hives on my face due to an unexpected allergy I bought Benadryl tablets and saw the cream and thought it couldn’t hurt my face was red swollen and severely itchy. I put this on in the car because I couldn’t wait, literally I needed to use something at first it felt like my face was being peeled off; sorry for the graphic description but there’s no other way to say it this cream felt like I’d just put acid on my face. Within 15 minutes my swelling was down, the redness reduced and the itchiness gone. I felt comfortable again and I’d almost forgot what that felt like the initial pain was worth the relief I got afterwards and I would recommend this stuff.

Great product
I used this throughout last summer/fall primarily for insect bites to myself and the rest of the family. FINALLY, a product that works to relieve itching unlike some of the other ones on the market. It's now something we carry with us regularly when outdoors.

Reformulation
It appears be reformulated and the size has decreased. I have a tube from 2 years ago but because it expired recently I went and purchased another tube only to discover there have been many changes: it now has zinc acetate 0.1% in it; the consistency is now waxy and doesn't absorb well at all, the tube went from being aluminum to plastic, and the size decreased from 30 g to 28 g. Sadly it's not working to alleviate my itchy rash symptoms anymore and I'm so sad that I threw away the other one because it worked much better.
Ironically, the product description page (at the time of writing this review) describes it as: "Benadryl® Triple Action Itch Cream, 30 g Tube for Itch Relief" then further down the page says 28g tube. This seems to be another victim of shrink-flation and crap-flation sadly.

Fantastic product
I broke out in raised red patches two days ago due to an allergic reaction of some kind. After two days of suffering the itchiness, I purchased and used this cream. Within 5 minutes the itchiness stopped, and within 2 hours the red patches were reduced by 90%. I wish I hadn’t waited to try this product but now I would strongly recommend this cream to anyone in a similar situation.

Great for people hypersensitive to bug bites!!
My daughter is extremely sensitive to bug bites (especially mosquito). The minute she gets bitten, the bite swells up to several inches or more across. I've even taken her to the hospital for bites that have covered up to 5 inches of her leg. This cream works wonders! Within 30 minutes of application, her bites shrink and look like any normal person's day-old bug bites. Really, really works!

Doesn’t Work Quickly
I absolutely loved the anti itch spray that has now been discontinued. I tried this lotion as a replacement for the spray and it doesn’t even compare. With the lotion, you have to actually make contact with the bite to get relief, however by touching it, it just makes it itch more. The spray was so much better because you have no contact with the bite (which is ingenius) and it worked almost instantaneously as soon as it hit the skin. If a product needs to be discontinued I would recommend it be the lotion.

Amasing product with results in one day after suffering for at least one year. I slept last nigh itch free.

It’s ok
I tried this cream and it seems to work. I notice after a few hours it needs to be applied again.
