Take Benylin for effective relief of your cough and cold symptoms! This formulation is free of gluten, parabens, sucrose and lactose and is cherry menthol flavoured.
Directions: Adults (12 years and over) take 2 teaspoons (10 mL) every 6 hours. Maximum of 8 teaspoons (40 mL) per day. (Not recommended for children under 12 years.)
Caution: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Talk to a Doctor before using this product if you have asthma, chronic lung disease/shortness of breath, persistent/chronic cough, or are pregnant, breast-feeding, or taking a drug for depression, including monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor drugs. Check with a doctor if cough worsens, lasts more than 7 days, or tends to recur or if you also have excessive secretions or fever. Do not take more than the recommended dosage.

Caloric content: 5.7 Kcal/5 mL.

Helps Clear Congestion
This is a staple product in our house. Whenever I have a cold with chest congestion I take a spoonful of this syrup and quite quickly I feel better and it helps my cough subside.

Not for the elderly
I gave my mom this medications. She took 10 mls every 6 hours. She took a total of 3 doses and ended up on the floor for almost 5 hours as she is 80 and couldn’t get up. She felt faint/lightheaded. Happy her hip replacement stayed intact and didn’t end up with Rhabdo. The kind I used was with “warming sensation”. I’m 99% sure it was due to this. I should have stuck with a one ingredient cough suppressant but due to the shortage this was the only bottle available at Walmart.

DOES NOT WORK
Bought this exact product a few months ago I have been sick twice, I specifically bought it for my sore throat, I was coughing and my throat hurt when I swallow. IT DID NOTHING. DOES NOT WORK. I took it multiple times to make sure and nope every time I was disappointed and still in pain. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS ! I suggest the extra strength All-in-one, works everytime.

Never helped
I did not find this product to be helpful. Very sore throat, dry irritated cough and congestion with pleghm. Medication only lasted about 1/2 hour and my symptoms continued.
