Good idea but…
I love dates and was very excited to try this however it had a very heavy earthy taste (similar to a Lara bar) - would rather make myself for the sweeter taste of fresh dates.

Horrible first experience
I just purchased this product and was excited to try it. When I opened it there was mold on the surface. The expiry date is November 19th 2021. Clearly something has gone wrong somewhere. This is very disappointing as I was looking forward to trying this product but I'm so turned off at the thought of possibly receiving yet another jar with mold. Pictures attached.

I’ve tried other sauces and spreads using dates as the sweetener and I’ve liked all of them except this one. The smell and taste is not sweet and chocolatey… smells & tastes like clay.
