I quite enjoy these pancakes although I don’t follow the instructions so I can’t comment on how they would taste with just water and the mix.
I use milk instead and sometimes add cottage cheese as well to add even more protein. I also add in some cinnamon. They do not have a bad gritty protein texture or weird taste.
What i CAN say is that these pancakes keep me full for hours ! The extra protein really keeps me going until lunch
