Really nice replacement for chocolate! I like to mix the powder with frozen bananas and make ice cream.

It was a sad day when I had to give up chocolate, luckily there is a substitute. This carob powder is finely ground and has a nice flavor. A little goes a long way. It's not quite like chocolate, perhaps like a milk chocolate, with extra milk, a mild chocolate version. I have a hot carob with 1% milk and stevia in the morning and evening.

I was pleased to have found carob powder at Well.ca as I have had a hard time locating this product in my town, Not even the Bulk Barn carries it. My kids always preferred carob over chocolate when I bake brownies or chocolate cake. This website is my go to place when stores no longer carry products I love.

I substitute carob for dark chocolate and make my own chips with the powder, coconut oil and honey. It works if you can't have caffeine or other added ingredients in store bought chocolate or carob chips.
