I have to follow a gluten free diet and I grind the whole grain into flour to use in gluten free baking.

I don't like the texture that much.

I originally purchased this teff whole grain for the project of trying out some Ethiopian bread recipes. Well, that project - though it went well in the prep and cooking, failed because nobody liked the slightly sour injera bread. So, now I use this product as an addition to my multi-grained baking. It fits in well as an element to breads and muffins.

I like to serve something other than oatmeal or quinoa once in a while, my toddlers like the texture, my husband loves the nutty taste and I love that it's so good for you. AND it's cheaper here than even Superstore!

Expensive. Healthy. Mild tasting. You do have to be careful how much you use in recipes, I like to mix it or rather the teff flour with other flours. But definitely not the most appealing to look at.

A nice alternative to regular hot cereals. It kind of has the consistency of cream of wheat, but with a lot more nutrition and no gluten. Not the most visually appealing, but pretty tasty.
