Good but not Fantastic
We upgraded from the Britax Allegiance to the Grow With You, and given Britax's reputation for quality products and reviews I read elsewhere I thought this was going to be a great investment. While the overall build is very good on the seat there are things that instantly bothered me. The padding is white squeaky styrofoam and it does squeak while going over bumps. Compared to the padding in the Allegiance, I can't help but wonder why Britax chose to cheap out on the type of padding in this seat? I know I will still be happy with this purchase, but it just rubbed me the wrong (squeaky) way. The chest belt also is a bit cheaper plastic than the quality I'm used to from Britax. Overall still happy with the purchase and quality of the seat material, size and ease of use, but just am disappointed by the cheaper materials used given the price of the seat. As always, the slide-up height adjustment is amazing.
