I've been using these for a few years now, mostly for my youngest child, now 8ys old. She has always liked them and bites the capsule to get the 'juice' (as she calls it) but also swallows the capsule. My teenage daughter bites them to get the oil then spits out the capsule.

Not chewable, a misleading label. These are gelcaps, very thick shell impossible for a 1 year-old to chew. I tried one and even I had to work at it to chew it. Do not recommend for young kids

I chose this product after reading the reviews below.
My daughter has been taking vitamins since she was old enough to chew them so I was surprized when a few seconds after gving it to her she spit it out and began crying (she is 3 and a bit dramatic these days). I tried one myself and I agree they are pretty disgusting. They are quite hard so you have to pop them in your mouth and when you do the taste is a mixture of fish oil with a hint of orange. The shell that the oil is in doesn't break down easily so you almost have to swallow it intact.
I tried to break the pill open and put it in some applesauce but even with one you can stll detect it. I'll keep trying to put it in foods.
I would reccommend trying them though. It seems like others have had better luck with them. DHA is really important and this product contains a good amount for a good price.

I got these thinking they were like chewable gummies or the likes. They aren't, they are just regular gel capsules. I suppose technically you can "chew" on these but it's hard to pop one (I tired one myself) and it is really fishy tasting and disgusting on the inside (still have an awful taste in my mouth). Very disappointed.

These are my eight year old daughter's favourite fish oil capsules. I've tried a few others but she still asks for these. You don't have to take as many as some other brands to get the same amount of DHA so that's a great value too.

Even after reading the good reviews I wasn't sure if my kids would take these (my daughter can be VERY picky). They both loved them... no complaints :)
