Awful Tear from
Awful wave tear
The "smooth tear" means you can't just pull off a straight line; the waves tend to just tear off where a straight line would be, leaving a mess. You also waste more toilet paper (can't get near the waves), and they make more paper dust (the actual length of the tear is longer).
It's awful. If you accidentally get their extra wide rolls, it just makes the wave even longer and even more likely to tear.
Too bad they don't make straight perforations at all anymore.
Charmin used to be the best, now I won't buy it again.

Softness guaranteed,
Been using Charmin Ultra Soft for a while now, and I very much enjoy the softness, durability, and the easy tear design. As a person in a wheelchair or bound to a bed, I get purplish from laying in one position too long. It is very painful and if it wasn't for the softness of your toilet paper, the pain would be alot worse than it already is... thank you Charmin

Question about perforations
I only use Charmin but, I bought the huge package of Charmin Ultra soft and the sheets are not perforated. Is that the new way charmin will be?
My grandchildren keep pulling and pulling and look for the perforated line that should be there. Then they pull more. So basically they unwound the entire roll. They did this many times.

Why exactly?
Not sure why "Smooth Tear" was necessary. But "Smooth tear" apparently also means "wipe tear" as the paper also tears while you are wiping. Don't know what happened, but I never had a problem with this product until the "smooth tear'. Two stars, because it's at least still soft, just too soft to hold together to be useful.

Terrible perforated wiggle tears!
I hate your new perforated wiggle tears. It doesn't make it easier, it makes life harder. I'm switching away from your product until you figure yourself out. A lot of people have written on reddit as well how terrible of an idea this was also. Thanks!

Terrible product
This is the first time I've ever purchased Charmin. I will NEVER buy it again. I left large amounts of residue and tiny bits in the area where I wiped. This is a terrible product and should be banned.

Bring back the old fashion tear guide.
I've used this product for years but this new smooth tear is horrible. Why fix when it isn't broken? I will have to switch brand now because this new feature is wasteful and terribly annoying.

Bad new design :/
I used to like this TP but I'm not going to buy it again unless the old style straight cut is back.
The new cut is really bad and keeps tearing which in turns make me tear :_(
