Chickapea is made from ONLY two ingredients: organic chickpeas and lentils, which are both part of the pulse family. Cool, what the heck are pulses? Glad you asked! Pulses are the dried seed of peas, edible beans, lentils and chickpeas and are very high in protein and fibre, and low in fat. This makes them a healthy addition to any meal! The biggest question here is shells, spirals or penne?

Love this pasta. Have gone through a couple other brands (Banza, Explore Cuisine) and this one has the least amount of ingredients (just chickpeas and lentils!) with the same great taste. The pasta water is also great for adding to sauce later.

Chickapea pasta is our family's go to pasta. I love that it's healthy and it tastes great too. It reminds me of whole wheat pasta, which I love.

This pasta is absolutely delicious! My whole family gobbled it, even my toddler and husband! I think the trick, as with many pastas, is to cook in A LOT of water with salt. Starchy pastas need room to move around in the water and that way they won't stick together or get mushy. I also rinsed it with hot water after. I was so impressed with how well this pasta held up and the amount of protein and fibre is amazing!
