Does the Job
This has been my favourite product for years as it exfoliates and leaves my skin feeling invigorated. Unfortunately, they have removed the menthol and it is no longer as wonderfully refreshing as it used to be. I actually thought they had sent old stock when I used my new tube and the mild menthol fragrance was replaced with something that smelled rather musty to my sensitive nose. It would have been nice if Clinique had included "new formula" or something similar before I stocked up. In the end, it still does the job and I will continue using it until I find something better.

No longer a Holy Grail Exfoliator
This product was reformulated so long ago and I wanted to give it a chance as I loved the previous version. After a year of using the new version, it completely is a disappointment as the exfoliating bits don't exfoliate and the minty fresh wake-up feeling is gone. It has a light chemical smell. Product is no longer invigorating and have now found an alternative which is much expensive but not by choice. I hope you take everyone's review into consideration as the new formulation is definitely a FAIL in my opinion. There are so many holy grail products that are reformulated and I think a lot of beauty companies should ask consumers what they want and think! Maybe keep old version and have the reformulated version. This keeps us all happy!!

Not what it used to be
I'm so disappointed they changed the formula. It used to be a better scrub, it used to leave your skin feeling scrubbed clean and had a nice mint fresh smell. The new one feels like the 7 day scrub, leaves your face moisturized, but doesn't feel actually scrubbed and refreshed. I miss the original one that I used for 30+yrs!!!!

Where's the menthol?
I also recently purchased what I expected to be my favourite scrub, only to be massively disappointed mid shower. The tingly refreshing sensation that usually accompanied the application of product is gone. The scrub is now nothing special or different from other products on the market.

What a fantastic product
Since menopause my skin has been all over the place. I tried many exfoliants from cheap to high end brands and could achieve the result I wanted. It was either really dry skin or break outs. The first time using this product, I could feel snd see a vast improvement. I absolutely love it and will be purchasing again.

Not the same
I've been using Clinique products for years and I'm disappointed that you changed the ingredients in this scrub. Your previous version of this scrub had a fresh peppermint feel and use to leave your skin feeling fresh. Very disappointed, this was the main reason why I purchased this scrub over the years.

Really miss this Product
If I could I would give this less than 1 star! Just bought 2 tubes of this from Hudsons Bay in Canada. Unfortunately they are not the same formula that I have used for the past 30yrs. The formula has been changed. It no longer has the minty fresh feeling that really wakes your face up. It also has a bit of a greasy feeling, kind of like the 7 day scrub, which is why I never buy it. The 7 day scrub leaves my skin feeling like a greasy coating is on it and now my favorite exfoliating scrub seems to be the same way, so I don't like it at all. The other noticeable change is the exfoliating beads seem to be smaller and don't do the job like my original formula did. It's too bad they changed the formula. It was excellent the way it was. Now after 30 + years I am looking up home made recipes to make myself at home. I have returned both tubes back to Hudsons Bay. I always look for cliniques specials on many of their products while I am shopping for my exfoliating scrub. Now I have no reason to buy any clinique products and from the recipes I am finding online to make my own minty scrub it looks like I will be saving a lot of money.

Make any skin so smooth
I have super dry skin that's very easily irritated and this scrub does a great job of removing the dry skin gently leaving my skin smooth!
