The DivaCup is a reusable, bell-shaped menstrual cup that is worn
internally and sits low in the vaginal canal, collecting rather than
absorbing your menstrual flow. Menstrual cups have existed since the
1930s when women were searching for an alternative to the choices of the
time. Yet, its breakthrough into the feminine hygiene industry is much
more recent.
The DivaCup empowers women to connect with their bodies and menstrual cycles like never before. Many women feel uneasy about changing their menstrual care routine. Years of dealing with the sights and odours of disposable tampons and pads cause the familiar reaction: “ick!”. Perfect for all activities (on air, land or sea), the DivaCup is easy to use and makes for a better period experience.

Pros and Cons. Not good for a heavy flow.
This review is from someone with a heavy flow- Day 2 of my period would be an Ultra Tampon along with a pad that needs to be changed every 2 hours. Bought this a few days ago. I’m 35 with 2 children and a heavy flow. I can see it working on my lighter days but doesn’t work on my heaviest day. Lots of leaks and had to change it every hour :(. It can also get quite messy in terms on taking it out and putting in. If you don’t have a sink right beside you, you’re screwed. So wearing it out in public if you’ll be out for more than an hour with a heavy flow is a no no.

Slips down
I've been a cup user for several years now. Absolutely the best invention ever!! Unfortunately the smaller size was starting to slip down over time. With some research, and knowing that my body does change over time, I ordered the largest size. It still slips and is absolutely annoying.
This was awesome when it use to fit correctly. Helped with much of the cramping and I preferred using it over any other option. I cannot recommend it to someone that has the same issues as I have. It feels great the first couple of hours, but taking it out and re-insertion isn't an option while at work and using public bathrooms. It has been so annoying that I was almost tempted to go back to tampons, but I hate tampons more than the cup constantly slipping down.

Great cup, highly recommended for higher cervix
Technically I would rate it more like 4.5 stars due to a little sloppiness in the finish of the seam around the rim. My old Diva cup was totally smoothed out but my new one is not. Thankfully I can't feel it and the comfort and ease of insertion work better for me than any other menstrual cup or disc that I've tried. Another difference between old and new is that my old cup has measurements in millilitres and ounces and the new cups only have ounces. I would love to see this available in a different colourway like the semi-transparent purplish grey of the diva disc since I'd rather the stains be less visible.

Great products and savings!!
I was introduced to the DivaCup years ago and using Model 1 with recent purchase of Model 2. For me, it was a bit tricky at first and feeling if it was in properly. I recommend to read the instructions and also with patience and practice it will be easier. An excellent product because of the silicone, easy to clean and I value reusable. Plus you save lots of money. Tip: wipe, dry or store using lint-free toliet paper (TP). I've bought lint-free for years and notice when I'm out and using other TP, lint is a bother, at least in my opinion.

Life changing
Never would I go back to anything but a menstrual cup. Just glad it didn’t take me forever to find it! Not only are these insanely economical, you can basically ‘set it and forget it’ once you’re used to them. I go all day and all night confidently, with some period underwear as back up just in case. It’s life changing. Swimming and anything else is completely fine and no strings to worry about.
This can take some getting used to so I urge you to be patient: organicup has a super helpful video for first time users and in general there’s a lot of info on the diva cup website. You won’t look back!

Sustainable
This product is something I could have almost swore by but more than a hundred times I’ve caught myself spending hours trying to reinsert my cup. I’ve used two different cups for 3 years and honestly if I had some kind of tool to make insertion easier, I would be happier but these insertions and the process not getting easier after 3 years is just frustrating. Tampons might leak and need to be changed more often but at least I don’t spend longer than seconds in the bathroom. Using a diva cup makes me feel upset and stuck cause every 4-8 hours I’ve moved into the bathroom for a good 1 to 2 hours. I get frustrated when it takes longer than 10 minutes to insert properly, because sometimes it takes a couple minutes to just use but far too many times does this take far to long to use. More bad times than good I guess.

It leaks regardless đ
I was excited to try diva cups , 1st one lasted 2 years in a sense i still have it but it changed color but it got Very unpleasant odour, so i decided to purchase new one.
Also both cups were leaking and are still leaking . My idea of having Diva cups is to avoid any type of pads, environment and also i was getting infections when wearing pads. However this doesn't seem is workable … not sure why …
I tried Diva support but regardless how i insert the cup it doesn't work somehow
This is my only and pivotal point as main advertisement is that they dont leak

Horrible Discomfort, Leaks like Crazy, Always Shifting.
Leaks like a sieve. While it is softer than the Tampax cup, it constantly slips, is horrendously uncomfortable, and I'm having to wear a heavy pad underneath it for leakage.
I bought both sizes because whose body doesn't change size after awhile; while the size 1 actually fits better, both sizes hurt like crazy to go up and down.
It's what I feel like childbirth would have felt like, but I've never had a vaginal birth.
I just wish I could get my money back to put it back to use for either a different cup or some good old fashioned tampons.
