Wow! Finally a hairspray that is not sticky and doesnt make my hair hard - but still keeps it in place. I have naturally wavy hair and when I want it can look great (with the right hairspray!). This product went on nicely, wasnt sticky and didnt have a bad smell. It kept my hair in its natural wavy state without looking like I poured a bottle of product on it. My husband also didnt complain about any smells, or the texture of my hair which is an added bonus! I will definitely put this one on my to buy list when I need to restock!

(I received a free product in exchange for my honest review) I was very keen to try the Dove Style+Care Flexible Hold Hairspray I really needed something to hold my long fine hair. I applied the hairspray as directed to my freshly styled hair which remained flexible and soft as advertised. I could run my fingers through it to the ends no sticking. My opinion of hairspray has changed after trying the Dove Style+Flexible Hold Hairspray because it really held my style , I thought my hair was mission impossible. It feels so soft with natural movement and stayed nice all day!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I use hairspray daily and was very happy to try this. It definitely provides a light weight flexible hold and none of the stiffness. No white flakiness either after brushing my hair the next day. I found it worked perfect for natural looks and updos, but for any curls it wasn’t enough strength and had to spray quite a bit more in order for it to hold. This is definitely a product I will continue to use and would not hesitate to purchase again.

I don't usually use hairsprays but I did try it to see how well it worked. What I like is that it did not have much of a hold which might sound strange for some but I love that. Because of my curly frizzy hair, I do not like my hair feeling stiff and crunchy but instead I like it flowing loose and bouncy and I got that with this hairspray. It didn’t leave my hair sticky or leave any residue behind. Overall, surprisingly, I like this and I will continue to use it as the last step in my curly hair-care routine. It also smells amazing.

It doesnt surround you in a toxic cloud of chemicals and it smells pretty good. I like that it is gentle on my hair and it doesn't make it feel crunchy. My only hesitation with this is that it doesn't provide very good hold. If I curl my hair and set the curls with this hairspray it all falls out with in 2-3 hours. Otherwise - I like it. Maybe not for holding a style, though.

I don't use hairspray very often, but I have a bottle of Kerastase Double Force handy for when I need it. This one is just as good, and much more affordable! I like that the smell is fresher and less strong than other hairsprays I've tried, and it goes away quickly. The hold is indeed flexible, looks natural and there's no risk of the hair feeling hard and plastic. It keeps a style in place nicely for hours and is perfect for loose curls and beachy waves! It's also great for keeping the roots volumized after a blowout, and it's non-drying and adds shine.

I normally did not use hairspray but since receiving this and trying Dove hairspray I love it. It keeps my hair in place whether I wear a ponytail or up style my hair or wear it down straight I even put it through the curl test to see if my hair would hold in place and I was pleased with the outcome. Normally I would just flat iron my hair but since adding hairspray to the regimen it keeps my fly away frizzy hair in place without a sticky residue so I've been trying different styles

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is a night, light hold hairspray. I use this type of spray for two specific purposes: holding in flyaways on ponytails/pulled back hair, and adding a bit of staying power to heatstyling like with my curling iron or hot rollers.
Overall, I found the smell pleasant, and the hold decent. It certainly isn't designed to hold intricate updos in place, or lock in tight curls, but it did add staying power to my styles without the characteristic crunchiness of some stronger hold hairspray products.

I found that with simpler hairstyles this worked really really well. I felt I had to use what I feel is quite a bit more for slightly intricate or complicated hairstyles but that it still held quite well. I recommend it. I like that with the purchase of the hair spray that a donation is made to the Dove Self-Esteem fund. The only downside for me personally is the hydrofluorocarbons. I don't really like to use hair spray that isn't in the pump bottle because of that. Still a good product that holds up.

I don’t use hairsprays on a daily basis but decided to try this product to style my hair for a girl’s night out.
It has a nice scent and its smell is quite mild in comparison with similar products. Also doesn’t make your hair stiff or sticky, it feels very smooth.
The only negative point I could find is that it is not as strong as advertised, as my hair style just stayed put for a couple of hours.

I used it once so far and I cannot wait to use it again. It has a nice light scent. No sticky residue and keeps my hair in place. My usual brand I used in the past cannot compare to this lovely product. I would definitely buy this again. I would highly reccommend this product to anyone who uses a flexible hold hairspray. Left my hair silky smooth with no sticky residue. Not only does it smell great, it's invigorating. yay!

I used it for a night out and was quite impressed with how lightweight it is. I'm not sure how well it would hold up to say using it to set curled hair or anything, but it helped keep my flyaways in check for a night out. I'm still undecided if I would actually purchase this product since I would use it rarely, but it is nice to have it in my stock of hair items just in case.

This hairspray does all that and in my opinion is even better! It is less expensive, smells great, and allows a good control that isn't heavy. It is a really good finishing spray, and I especially like it when I style my hair with beach waves, because you can still run your fingers through your hair!! Good job Dove! I got thisDove Style+Care Flexible Hold Hairspray as a part of chickadvisor review club and I have to say it better than the other testing program out there because of the packaging and it tells the price in the box so I can determine that the product is worth for the price. I do use mouse to set up my hair sometime or to make the wet look kind of hair style. Give this hair spray a try to my son's spike hair. It works same as I use water on his hair it does not even last 5 hours he lost his spike look so I dont think this product is work!! My Dove mouse that I use in regular basis would work better than this hair spray!!!

It doesn't give me the hold where even after 2 washes it's still looking like day 1 when I originally sprayed my hair yet it's such a good hold that at the end of the day even my hair that hates "false" curls still holds the curl which is a rarity on my head.
And of course.....the amazing smell of this product is too good!!!!!
Additionally, you only use a bit to get a perfect hold. I'm not too much of a hairspray type of girl but sometimes I just want to spray my hair to keep my flyaways down and it's perfect for that, too!

That being said, I always love finding hair spray that lets my hair feel like there is no styling product in it. The Dove Flex Hold was a god-send in the middle of seasonal storms that kept my hair from looking like a rat''s nest after getting stuck in the wind. It brushed out and still left my hair light and with movement even while holding whatever style I was wearing it in. Love it! This product was sent to me for review.

I have slightly wavy hair and it kind of has a mind of its own sometimes but I don't usually use hairsprays because I feel like many of them leave my hair feeling stiff. I was excited to try this hairspray help which I received free from chick advisor to test out and I was pleasantly surprised that it did not leave my hair feeling stiff. I used it just to hold my my natural light wave and it kept my hair style smooth.the smell was light and unoffensive to me as well.
Overall I liked how light weight it was and how it kept my style smooth & in place.

The spray smells really good and held my hair in place. However, since my hair is fine I don't think it tested the product to its max. Ladies with thicker hair might have to look elsewhere. The hairspray retails for CAD 9.99 and is well worth the price tag, even though it is a little more expensive that big store brands. I would certainly recommend this conditioner to my friends and family.

I'm not much of a hair spray user, so my experience with it is pretty limited.
A few occasions I had used it to spray my bangs to the side or to smooth out my hair and found it to be good. It didn't feel stiff at all. My hair was still soft after spraying it. It is far from the Aqua Net I used in the 90s! LOL
It smelled pretty good too, not offensive at all!
If I ever found myself needed hairspray in the future, I would get it again.

Although I don't use hairspray often, Dove is the only brand of hairspray I have purchased in the past. I liked the strength of this spray, as it held my thin and straggly hair in place for most of the day. It also gave my hair a nice shine, without making it look greasy. I wasn't a huge fan of the smell; other Dove sprays I've used smelled great, but this one has a metallic odor. The price is also a bit more than other hairsprays found in the drugstore, at $9.99 a can.

It has a pleasant scent and sprays easily from the attractive container. It left my hair shiny, with a firm hold, and not sticky or stiff. It also professes to provide long lasting style by nourishing and protecting hair to help prevent issues such as frizz, fly-aways, and dry/split ends. I agree that it does all these things!
I would definitely buy this hair spray again when i am looking for a flexible hold in my hairstyle!

I was fortunate enough to be selected by Chick Advisor to participate in a review of this product, and received a full size product for free to trial. I don't generally use hairspray unless I am wearing an up-do or curling my hair. For my up-do's, I prefer a much stronger hold. But for when I wear my hair curly, this spray is perfect! It isn't sticky and doesn't leave any nasty residue on my hair, like other brands do...which causes flakes (yuck!) It left my curls touchably soft. I wouldn't recommend this for daily use, but that is truly upon my personal preferences. I would buy this, but only to be used when I wear my hair curly and down..

This is a nice, light hairspray! If you're looking for a little bit of control, with very light, natural hold, this is a great product. If you want helmet hair that doesn't move in a tornado, then you'd better look elsewhere.
I like a light hold, that just keeps my bangs out of my face. This product did what it was supposed to do. It's not a fussy product, just point and spray. The mist was light, and didn't have huge particles in it that would soak hair.
I'd buy this again.

I have a lot of thin, fine hair and always have fly-aways. Especially in the winter months because of the dryness in the air.
I styled my hair into a sleek ponytail and sprayed down the fly-aways. The Dove Style+Care Flexible Hold Hairspray worked fairly well for a couple of hours and then they fly-aways popped out.
I really liked that the spray was light and had flexible hold. It would be great for my attempts at curly hair.
I will purchase Dove Style+Care Flexible Hold Hairspray when this one runs out.

I feel like this type of hairspray works really well for me because it's not going to plaster my hair to my head or make it feel sticky or crunchy. I would say that this offers good hold without being a heavy duty hairspray. I like the smell of it and I think the packaging is really nice and the nozzle gives a nice, even spray. I would recommend this to people looking for a good flexible hold hairspray.

I don't use hairspray all that often but I do have some fly-aways and coarse grey hairs on the top of my head that give me some trouble from time to time. This product worked well for taming those stubborn hairs as it was light and flexible which is exactly what I require. The smell was ok, a little too floral for me and a bit too strong. My mom is scent sensitive and she found the smell to be too strong although it didn't last on my hair for too long and the lingering light scent was quite nice. Overall, good value for the price and gets the job done.

So when I received this product, I had high expectations, and I wasn't disappointed! I live in a city where the weather is often windy, so when I fix my hair to go out somewhere, I need something that is going to hold my style, without it being hard as a rock and stiff looking. Like its name the hairspray was definitely flexible, but did manage to hold my style without it feeling like a rock. I would definitely recommend this hairspray. I also liked the scent, which is important to me, as who wants to look good but give off a funky odor?

I was so happy to try this hairspray out. This first thing I noticed was the way it sprayed the product out. Felt like I was barely pushing my finger down and the product was just shooting right out. Next I noticed the smell, usually hairspray smells so horrible. This didn't though. I did find the scent a bit too powerful, like I'd put purfume on and all I'd be smelling was the hairspray on my head. Loved it's fixable hold, definitely did its job. I'd totally buy this product and recommend others try it out as well.

I hate how typical hairsprays make my hair feel crunchy and hard, this product does not do this! It gives a medium amount of hold but keeps the style soft and bouncy without that crunchy texture. The smell is also amazing! The only down side to this product is that with my fine hair I don't get long lasting hold with this product.

For me this product got some pros and cons. My con list is shorter than my pro list but I still do not think I will purchase this in the future.
Pros:
- It is definitely flexible hold. Does not feel caked on. Does not feel stiff.
- Made my hair feel smooth and silky
- Was very easy to comb or brush out after a day of wear
Cons:
- Not good for holding curls or hairstyles that need a stronger hold.
- I absolutely hated the smell, it was way too strong for me.
Because of the scent i will most likely not purchase in the future.
