I really liked the idea to use natural detergent for my baby's cloths. He has an eczema, so it's hard to find an appropriate product. Unfortunately, it did not work as good as other non-natural detergents. Some stains remain on the cloths, so I had to clean them by hand

This is an excellent product. Clothes are clean and smell fresh after washing. Not much is needed so you get your monies worth. I started using this because other detergents were too harsh. I have had no problems with this one. Recommended

I've been using this for 3 months and am overall happy with it. However, some of the clothes still retain the breastmilk smell...

Excellent! Used it to prewash baby blankets and clothes. Now that baby is 6 weeks old, have done several loads with the 1/8 C as previously recommended, and clothes are clean and fresh. Also had several blowouts and clothes had no poo stains after immediate rinse in cold water and hand soap followed by ecomax load.

Love this detergent, but learned the hard way this IMPORTANT TIP: Be careful how much you use! If you have a High Efficiency washer (especially if it is a front loading one), which most people do these days, you only need to use 2 TBSP (1/8 cup)! That's if you have hard water. If you have a water softener, you only need 1 TBSP (1/16th cup)! The bottle I have recommends a whopping 4 TBSP (1/4 cup)! If you get a cap with lines, I would check how much soap it really is when you fill to the recommended lines. I followed the directions and didn't notice any problems at first, but after a while my clothes were feeling stiff and rough after drying and were pilling excessively. I watched a load one day and in the final rinse there were still TONS of suds left! A little bit of this soap really goes a long way! Too much could damage your clothes. Other than that note, love the soap. It cleans very well. I am confident it is gentle and leave clothes soft, if you use the right "dose".
