Not what I was expecting - gritty, not powdery
I purchased the Ecoideas cassava flour a few weeks ago because I was not able to purchase the cassava flour I typically buy. The cassava flour I usually use is smooth and powdery, however, the Ecoideas cassava flour is gritty. To date, I have only made a couple of things with this cassava flour that had turned out well when I used the other brand of cassava flour (pancakes and a mug cake). So far, the results with the Ecoideas cassava flour have not been quite as pleasant as I had hoped (not like the results with the smoother flour). I will continue to experiment with what's left in the bag. I'm hoping the texture will lend itself better to other foods. I would not have purchased this product had I known that the texture was gritty beforehand. Unless I find an amazing use for this grittier cassava flour, I will not be purchasing it again.

Not the best brand
I have now tried 4 different brands of cassava flour and this one performed the worst. It absorbs liquid like crazy and will make your baking tricky. I would stick with the others brands that Well.ca carries. I guess maybe the lower price point was an indication.

Best cassava flour for chapati/Roti/Indian bread
Tried couple of other brands as well but this one turned out best when trying to roll Indian style bread /roti .. soft ,tasty and smooth . First choice !!
