Fowler's Suspension is a trusted, fast and effective anti-diarrheal containing activated attapulgite.
Attapulgite is an oral, nonabsorbed medication that is used in the management of diarrhea. It works by adsorbing (binding) large numbers of bacteria and toxins and reducing the loss of water. Attapulgite reduces the number of bowel movements, improves the consistency of loose or watery stools, and relieves the gastrointestinal cramping that often is associated with diarrhea.
Dosage: Maximum 6 doses in 24 hours
Adults and children 12 years of age and older—20 ml
Children 6 to 12 years of age—10 ml
Children 3 to 6 years of age—5 ml
Children up to 3 years of age—Use and dose must be determined by your doctor.
Non medicinal ingredients: colour, flavour, gluconolactone, gum xanthan, methylparaben, propylparaben, propylene glycol, sorbic acid, sorbital, sucrose, titanium dioxide, water.
