Giddy Yoyo Raw Banana Spears are made from vine-ripened heirloom Red Banana. Red Bananas are a variety of banana with reddish-purple skin - the redder the fruit, the higher the carotene and vitamin C levels. When ripe, raw red bananas have a flesh that is cream-to-light pink in color. They are smaller, softer and more plump than the common yellow Cavendish banana and are sweeter, with a slight raspberry-banana flavor.

These bananas grow within Ecuador's regions of mineral rich dense black volcanic soil.
