Best Razor Ever
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I didn't realize there was a real, noticeable difference in razors, but the Gillette Venus Platinum proves it! First of all, it's gorgeous! The metal design is so nice, I don't want to hide it. And I love the little extra weight that the metal gives, compared to cheaper/disposable ones. Then, the Ribbon of Moisture means I don't have to use shaving cream when shaving. The blades are staying as sharp as first out of the package and my skin feels incredibly smooth after each time I use the razor. I highly recommend this to anyone who shaves! Only thing I would have loved is for the razor to come with a cap/cover for travelling.

Best razor yet!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I recently purchased the Venus Swirl razor thinking the the Flex Ball would be the answer to my previous razor problems. Boy was I wrong! The Venus Platinum Razor has everything I was looking for in a razor. The weight of the handle is great for movement of the blade and the 5 blades on the head cut my shaving time in half! I use to dread shaving because of the razors and how incompatible they were for me, since getting this razor I feel like my shave is better and i can spend more time focusing on other things then worrying about getting every pesky hair on my legs or under my arms because they are gone within the first pass!

Useless
As soon as they come into contact with water, the "lubrastrip" and "ribbon of moisture" swell up so much that the blades can't touch the skin at all. It's useless for shaving. If I hadn't thrown out the receipt I would have returned it. As it is, I've had to shave off the top 2-3 mm by hand with a knife from each refill.

I may be changing my regular brand!

I was hesitant that I would like this razor - but WOW, I was surprised!
I enjoyed that it was a heavier handle as it stayed in my hand a lot easier than most. The shape ensured it didn't slip out of my grasp too.
I decided to try it out with a Dry Shave first - No razor burn, no cuts, no irritation! I'm sold! The cut was so smooth and close that I haven't even had much hair regrowth 3 days later!
For me to even consider using a different brand than Intuition, is HUGE! I'm in love with this razor. So grateful that I was chosen for this Review!

Smooth sexy legs!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Shaved my legs a few days ago and they still feel smooth. I really liked the feel of the metal handle. It was easy to grip and also looked really nice. The blades also attached very easily which is great when rushing in the shower. I looked up the cost of blade replacements and they are comparable to my current razor the Schick Hydro Trimmer razor. The reason why I gave this razor a 4 is because I know I would miss not haveing the built in trimmer of my current razor. Other than that it’s a great product and would recommend people to buy.

Smooth and flawless shaving

I love the sleek handle that will eventually last thoghout saves because of the metal handle and replaceable heads that shave and moisture’s you legs and arms during shave. I live the snap of the razor as it points outwards making it extremely easy for a long smooth shave. Extreme amazing product which I will repurchase again for a amamzing shave.

I love this new razor!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I’ve always gravitated towards Venus razors whenever I needed to purchase a new one, but typically went with their disposable options.
This new handle is So sturdy with the perfect amount of weight and feels great in your hand. I had Great control when using it for the first time! Admittedly, whenever I use a brand new razor I end up with at least one Knick from the sharp blades and handle slipping. That wasn’t a problem with this beast! I got a super close shave without drawing blood, huge selling point for me.
I also Love the fact that the handle is interchangeable with different blades, because even though I love the blades it came with if I encounter a different type of Venus blade on sale I can still take advantage, and as a budget wise shopper that’s a huge plus for me.
This razor works as great as it looks and if you purchase it, you will not be disappointed.

Effective & light!

The blades get close to the skin for the best shave yet & it works with the curves of the body which other razors say they do but dont really work like that! This razor does that & more! The handle is lightweight & fits so well in the hand! Doesnt slip either! The blades get those hairs you always try to go over to get after the 1st shave! I finally found a 'ladies' razor that works like a mans razor! I will be purchasing the refill blades when these get dull!

In love with Venus
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I think I fell in love with the product before even opening it, the packaging was so easy to get into no scissors required. It was all positives from there, the metal handle gives you a great grip but also still soft and comfortable. Extra smooth is the perfect name for these razors. I have very sensitive skin and even though I had let my hair go a little longer than normal, it was so easy. The blades don't clog easily either. I have PCOS so extra hair is something I battle, this razor and I are going to be good friends.

Easy to use
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The Gillette Venus platinum razor came in a very easy to open package and was very easy to clip the razor head onto the handle. I thought the razor itself was a little heavy for a reusable razor, but I’m used to the light weight plastic handle disposable razors. I liked how it has five blades which makes for a closer and smoother shave with the pivoting head, so it gets close in the bends of my leg and around the knee and ankle.
I’d recommend it to my friends and family if they were looking for a new reusable razor.

I have been using Venus razors for a bit, though I took a break and was using another brand before I got this one so I kind of forgot how they perform. I used it as soon as I got it (being that it’s winter I haven’t shaved my legs in a bit) I loved that as a female, we finally get a full metal razor, it’s about time. It felt nice in the hands and the blades did a great job as usual brand new blades would. I liked that it didn’t seem cheap and will last for a long time. I also like how it will take and kind of Venus blade so I don’t have to remember any major specifics when I go to the store. Venus will probably always be my favourite brand that I keep going back to

Great smooth feeling
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Used this razor a few times this week! Left my legs super smooth, especially my thighs! It was even gentle enough to not use shaving cream! However, it left some stubble on my under arms, and the blade was too wide to get into more sensitive areas, like my bikini line. The handle was pretty much the same as other Venus razors. I enjoyed the stainless steel handle, as I expect it will last a while without rusting

Fun, and Easy Shave!

I found the weight of the handle made it easier to use the product, and made my shave easier to maneuver on my legs. A mini version of this for travel would also be something I would invest in for sure. I found the metal handle made it harder for the razor to slip out of my handle in the shower which I really liked. I am curious to see the refill prices for this product as I have yet to see them in stores. It is unlike any razor I have used in the past and I really like it.

Legs for Days

Fancy pants razor!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) When I opened this razor I was shocked at how nice it looked. I literally said out loud, "wow this is the fanciest razor I've ever seen." And it is! The metal handle has some weight to it so it feels real, not like the cheap plastic disposable razors. It also doesn't get all grimy from being in the shower and getting wet every day, which I have never seen from a razor. The blades themselves are pretty much on par with most razors I've used, but the weightiness of the handle is what sets this razor apart.

I hadnt shaved my legs since October as I hate the feel of freshly shaven legs on pants and i hate cold legs, the Venus Platinum had quite the job to do and it succeeded!! My legs are so smooth!! It also didnt take forever to shave and only two passes with the razor!! I loved the feel of the handle it was very comfortable in my hand and didnt slip. I highly recommend this!! I have sensitive skin and I didnt break out or have a bad reaction to the stuff around the blades!!

I am happy to say the answer is a lot! Not only is it aesthetically pleasing with its chrome handle, it glides on your legs like butter even around the "dangerous" areas such as the knees. No nicks and my legs felt so smooth after with no bumps or razor burn. Solidly built with great performance. Thank you Gillette for a razor I can finally use without worrying about bleeding to death!

Legs for days!

I was in a huge rush when I first had to use it and it was great! I got every last hair only having to give over the area once. I love that it has the moisture strips all the way around so it glids very smoothly. I normally use a men s razor because I feel the quality it better with the metal handle and this is great that we finally have one of our own. I will definitely be switching to this one!! Thanks!!

Smoothest lady legs

When it comes to really knowing what women need you have brought out one of the best razors in the market. My legs felt silky smooth with an even shave which to me is always a problem as I usually have patches. What also stood out the most and this was the biggest excitement was that I had no cuts all over my legs.

Love the handle but not the flexibility
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I loved the look and the handle. I loved the heavy feel and how it fit into my hand. I am impressed with how smooth and sleek the new handle is.
I am a huge fan of the Gillette swirl and still prefer it over the Platinum. I found it didn’t glide around the curves of my legs as easily as the Swirl did. I also found that the blades didn’t really grip as well. Sometimes I had to go over an area twice.
Overall my legs were super smooth after using and no razor burn! I would use this again for sure.

Gilette Razor Review

I always found that it always gave a better shave and was a bit cheaper than the Venus razors. This one, is basically that. It's heavy, so it feels sturdy, and worth what you pay for it. My only complaint... is that it wasn't in rose gold. Guess I won't have to steal his anymore. ;3

Simply smooth

Smooth,sturdy, no nick’s, this razor feels great in the hand and quickly -without shaving cream - get every last hair on my legs. A lot of my razors due to the steam in the shower/bathroom tend to get a little rusty but it’s been a week and still this razor looks brand new. I have found my my Holy Grail and I’m never looking back! Only con is that it did not come with a cover for the razor head.

Left Me Feeling Like Venus
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have been using Silk razors that come with balm cassettes for a while now. I will be honest, cleaning those is not fun, so getting the Gillette Venus Platinum in my mailbox was sooooo timely.
I used it the same night, and let me tell you - I am switching. Its sleek design along with a great grip on the handle allows for easy maneuvers in the shower. I had no cuts, just amazing smooth results. And if used with a scrub, your skin will look and feel phenomenal. What a great product!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The packaging was pretty interesting, it boasts about an amazing close shave, and the handle is definatly heavier and metal. Which is nice because it feels easier to use, and less likely to drop. But the blades that are with it are the same as in the other regular 5 blade shaver. For this it gets a 4 star not a 5. The shave is great just like the regular shaver but they definatly improved the handle. However I wouldn't just pay the extra for this I would opt for the original one.

Extra smooth i guess. Best shave in for ever. Truth be told i used the mans gillette razor for sometime now and although good it has no comparison to the closeness of the ladys new platinum extra smooth venus razor. Not to mention the sexy new deaign matches my modern bathroom decor ! LOVE IT
