Hershey’s Chipits are Canada’s most loved chocolate chip brand. These dark chocolate chips are made with 50% cacao and are always gluten free!

Ingredients: Dark Chocolate (Sugar, Unsweetened Chocolate, Cocoa Butter, Cocoa Powder, Milk Ingredients, Soy Lecithin, Artificial Flavour).

How to make Double Chocolate Chip Cookies:
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Beat 1 cup (250 mL) butter with 3/4 cup (175 mL) packed brown sugar and 1/2 cup (125 mL) granulated sugar. Beat in 1 egg and 1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla extract.
  2. Stir 1 1/3 cups (400 mL) flour with 1/3 (75 mL) Hershey’s Cocoa, 1 tsp (5 mL) baking soda and 1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt in a separate bowl. Gradually beat into butter mixture.
  3. Stir in 1 package (250 g) Chipits Dark Chocolate Chips and 1 1/4 cups (300 mL) chopped nuts (optional). Dropped 1 tbsp (15 mL) poritons of dough onto greased baking sheets.
  4. Bake for 8 – 10 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes; transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Makes 4 dozen cookies. (Suggested serving).
Tip: To melt Chipits chips in a microwave, place 1 cup (250 mL) chips in bowl. Microwave on Medium, 2 minutes. Remove; stir until melted.
