SO UPSET!
I cannot get over the scent change here. I've been using this product for 5 years, with three babies. Every time I smell it, I'm brought back to the newborn days, the beautiful scent triggers instant emotions for me. NOW it smells completely different and I am so sad. You've definitely lost me as a customer I will not be purchasing this again!!!!!!!!!

We Like It
We love this product... works great and it smells so delicate and lovely. The scent stays in the clothing for quite a while afterwards too. Would love for there to be a softener in the same scent, too. I've read a lot of reviews saying the scent is awful, however it truly isn't? I do not know how the detergent smelled before and can understand the frustration of loving the scent of a product, only for the company to change it. Perhaps Ivory should develop two scents of this detergent to appease the group who loved the old scent? Anyhow, we will continue to buy this detergent, even once baby grows older as the smell now reminds me of how little she was. Only criticism is I find the price to be on the higher side.

Can’t take the new scent.
Have been using this product for over three years and can’t stand the new smell. So disappointing as the original was my favourite smell of all time!! Please bring back your original scent. The new smell is way too strong and smells like old lady perfume. I have to switch brands until you change back. (It seems like everyone else wants this also).

Hate the new scent!
Please change the scent back to the ivory snow we have known and loved for years! So disappointed that my new addition won’t have the same smell as my other children! All my family and friends feel the same way. We used to love your product. My 5 year old compared the new scent to the smell of her great grandmother’s hands and she’s not wrong!

Terrible new scent
The “new and improved” scent is terrible. It’s like a bottle of horrid cheap perfume. So overwhelming and not at all what I want to use on my children’s clothes. Why change a good thing? The original scent was wonderful. Will not be purchasing again.

TERRIBLE NEW SCENT!!!
For the 23 years of my life I have been using Ivory, I have extremely sensitive skin and this detergent was the only one that worked. Since the change in the scent and formula I have had the worst eczema flare up I have had in my entire life. The old fragrance was amazing and caused no skin irritations for me. If any Ivory representative is reading this please direct me to where I could purchase any left over stock of the old formula or please just change your formula back my skin is literally on fire.

Perfect for Baby’s Naive Skin

You never know if your baby’s skin will react to different products but especially detergents that you’re washing ALL of their clothing & bedding in! We bought this at the recommendation of friends when we were pregnant and pre-washed all of babe’s clothing in it. Not only has baby had zero skin rashes (currently 3 months old), but his clothing is soft after multiple washes, haven’t had any colour loss/runs and it’s gentle on his skin AND mine! It doesn’t have a strong smell but what you can smell is pleasant and doesn’t take away from baby’s newborn smell either!! 10/10 recommend!

BRING BACK TO OLD SCENT!!!
The new improved formula is DEF NOT AN IMPROVEMENT! Please bring back the old scent. We have been using that old one for years! Thats the only one we actually liked and that we didnt mind paying such a price!

I hate the smell of new formula.
I would no longer recommend this product. The new formula has changed the scent and no longer has the typical baby smell. I will not buy this product again, I am so disappointed with the new smell of the detergent. Please change the scent back. I do not understand why a new product has to replace the old one instead of just adding a new product to the line and supply your loyal customers with both options.

Bring back Old Scent
I was so disappointed with the new scent and had no warning. I always found Ivory Snow to be expensive but I did not mind spending the money so that I could enjoy the amazing scent. I have used this for 30 years. When I had guests over they asked me how I got my sheets and towels to smell so amazing. Now I might as well save money as it smells like the cheaper brands I use to refuse to buy. No more Ivory for this family!!!! There is no point.Bring back the original scent ASAP. It stinks !!!

We have a few members in our home with sensitive skin and we have never had a problem with this brand. I also enjoy the smell, nice scent and for us it's not overpowering at all. I like all about the Ivory detergent. I use it for many years and I am very found of this liquid detergent. the scent is mild and pleasant, not overpowering. Washes well and I love it It also does a great job on washing and getting out most things without any pretreatment. #trywithtopbox #freeproduct

PLEASE bring back the old scent!
There are SO many complaints here about the new scent! Will you change it back? Are you responding to our concerns? I have used this detergent ALL my life because of my eczema... I will NEVER buy this detergent again if the scent doesn’t change back... VERY disappointing!

Absolutely horrible new smell
I absolutely loved this product when my first child was born. And I was very excited to start washing my second baby's clothes in the unmistakable scent that we've all known and loved for years. Unfortunately that won't be happening this time as the scent has been drastically changed to something I definitely don't want to smell on any newborn. Very disappointed in the new smell. This was a horrible decision for the company to make.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE ORIGINAL SCENT, IT MADE YOUR PRODUCT INDISPENSABLE. NOW THERE IS NO REASON TO BUY THIS DETERGENT, AND ALL OF MY MOM FRIENDS AGREE. Terrible new scent LOVED classic scent
I have had a couple kids and I LOVED the scent of the original ivory snow so much I washed my own delicates in it too! The new scent is awful. The first time I used it I didn’t realize there was a new smell and thought something in the wash had caused the scent. I just recently donated some smaller baby clothes and when I pulled them out of the container I smelt the pieces over and over again since I missed the Original smell so much and it reminded me of my babies. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK. I now am shopping else where for baby wash and am not happy about it.

New scent needs to go!
Haven’t had babies for a while but I continued to use the product on our bedding for the scent alone! Now I use it on our pets bedding so they can smell like the babies that they are! Unfortunately this new scent is terrible so I was buying the ivory blissfuls which are now also discontinued. I was willing to pay more for the ivory snow scent and then even more by having to purchase the scent booster but if the old scent does not come back I will take my business to a different brand. Please bring back the old sent!

SCENT CHANGED
Recently purchased a new bottle of this detergent, the scent of the detergent is now completely different than the ones that I used on my baby's clothing before. I've been using this detergent for a couple years. Now this new scent smells so awful that I have to look for another brand. Please bring back the old scent otherwise I'm sure you will lost a lot of your customers.

Awful “new and improved” scent ...
The new smell is terrible. Smells like cheap perfume with a hint of hairspray. Not sure who thought this scent would be appropriate for new born babies. This is nasty. I don’t recommend it to anyone and will never buy again. Two massive thumbs down.

I’ve loved using this on my babies and kids because of how light the scent was. The new scent is too strong and I will not be using this product anymore or recommend it to any of my expecting friends. Change it back to old scent.
