Ingredients
John Frieda Frizz Ease Extra Strength 6 Effects Serum is expertly formulated with a unique blend of silicones. This serum protects each dehydrated strand against the onset of frizz and boosts shine. With silk proteins and algae extract, this frizzy hair serum smoothes for more manageable and lustrous results, and provides heat protection. Expertly formulated for medium-thick and wavy-curly hair types, but suitable for all levels of frizz and is safe for color-treated hair. It also comes with a thermal protectant.
Directions: Apply to SOAKING WET HAIR. Use sparingly, dispensing a dime-size amount of serum into palm. Rub hands together and distribute evenly throughout hair. AVOID applying directly to ROOTS. Use more or less depending on hair length and thickness. DO NOT RINSE OUT. Style as desired, using any product from the FRIZZ EASE styling line.

Unbelievably soft hair

I used John Frieda Frizz Ease Serum right after washing my hair while it was still damp, then applied a small amount through the lengths before blow drying and straightening. It made my hair feel soft and smooth right away without weighing it down. Even after 2 days, my hair is still really soft and looks neat. It also worked well as a heat protectant and kept my hair frizz-free the whole time. I’m really happy with the results. Absolutely recommend this product. It has made my hair unbelievably soft.

Great frizz control for fine hair
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I’ve been using this product for a while and overall I’m very happy with it. It helps control frizz and quickly makes my hair look neat and polished.
Even for my fine hair, it works great — it doesn’t weigh it down or make it greasy. Instead, my hair feels light and airy while still maintaining volume, which is very important to me.
The texture is lightweight and easy to apply, and the effect is noticeable right away — my hair looks smoother and more well-groomed. The key is not to use too much.
Overall, it’s a great option for quick frizz control, especially in humid weather.

Effective, But Use Sparingly!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My hair is naturally curly, but thin and unruly due to damage. So, when I received this product to try, I was excited to try it out. First application, I used too much product for my thin hair (a little goes a long way!) and it made my hair greasy. However, I blame this on myself and not the product. Since then, I’ve been using less product (it was last me a LONG time) and am satisfied with the results I see. It definitely does tame my locks, especially in the humidity of summer.
For the price point, I would I recommend this product.

Still a banger of a hair product
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I used John Frieda’s frizz ease in the ‘90s and ‘00s and it was a holy grail product. I don’t know why I stopped buying it. Getting this free sample to try it again has been an eye opener. Why did I stop? It works so well to tame my frizz. I’ve been having great hair days for the last 2 weeks. A little before hair drying. A little after blow drying. And my hair is smooth all day. It’s actually good for 3 days till I have to repeat my hair routine. Thank goodness I’ve rediscovered this product. It’s great. Love it!

I used just a small amount and applied it to my hair before blow drying, and straightening my hair as usual. I love the fresh light scent it has, and like that it has bamboo extract, an essential nutrient that keeps the hair and skin healthy and wont irritate the skin. After using this product my hair looked and felt so nice. I couldnt believe how smooth and fresh it looked. Last time my hair felt so nice was after a fresh cut at the salon. I will be using
this product more often.

Must-have for frizz!

I like to use the John Frieda Frizz Ease The Controller Extra Strength Serum in the morning on my damp hair before I begin styling it and I really find that my fizz is reduced even after being at work and going about my day. It also helps to keep my pesky flyaways at bay and I find that I don’t need to use too much product to get the job done. It helps my hair feel moisturized without being greasy or feeling heavy. There is a pleasant scent to it but it's not too strong or overpowering. I should note that I have thicker hair. I've been using this serum for a few days now, mostly in the morning after washing my hair, and it has drastically decreased frizz throughout the day. It spreads quickly without making my hair feel oily or heavy, and I only need a little bit. The texture is light and silky, and I really like the clean, delicate scent—it's not excessive at all. I really enjoy how it controls stray hairs and gives my hair a little gloss without looking oily. My hair still feels manageable and soft by the evening, which is a major win for me.

Definitely feel the silicone
I received a sample to try and review along with theDreamCurls shampoo and conditioner. I do not usually go for the 'designer' hair care - I have healthy, hip-length naturally blonde hair and am a low-maintenance kind of person. I'll say that the size sample packs come in are hardly adequate to give a full review on based on small percentage of coverage, but I disliked the very noticeable feel of the silicone on my hair (and hands!). The product did perform as advertised to keep hair smoothly wavy and felt a little better to me the second day after applying.
