A great ethical and green alternative for a relatively good price
I got these pads free from Butterly and Joni product to review!
Of all period products I've tried, pads are the most uncomfortable. They've been getting better, but it's not the most comfy or leak-proof option. Iykyk. To top it off, pads are pretty terrible for the environment.
When I saw that Joni had full compostable/biodegradable toxin-free organic pads, I was sure they were not going to be comfortable and they would be super expensive. But a box of 100 costs CA$37.99 at Costco online (which is always more expensive than in-store) which comes to 0.38 per pad. One of the cheapest options I found is 0.25 per pad (14.97 for 62), it's more expensive, but not as much as I expected. So if you have some financial privilege, this is a place to consider using it.
Especially since these are easily hands down the most comfortable pads I've ever tried. You know that thin plastic mesh-like cover most pads have? It's replaced by one that feels like a thin, soft, cotton duvet. It didn't feel gross within minutes of putting it in and it was one of the few pads I forgot I was wearing.
To make things even better, the company also seems to be intent on social good by giving forward some of its proceeds. So I recommend you give them a try. Get a box of 8 regular pads for $6.50 to try them out. If you like them, therr are two ways to save: bulk buying at Costco or subscription on the website.
I'll dig some more about the company and share what I find on my blog. Until then, I'm cautiously optimistic about a potential great product from a great company.

soft, comfortable and fragrance free
Joni Organic Pads đŠ¸
Super soft, comfortable , fragrance free and non-irritable. They’re easy to use and makes you feel better about the clean ingredients in them.
I would’ve liked the adhesive to be more durable but overall, I loved the product and would definitely recommend the switch for pad users. An added bonus is that they’re a Canadian company that prides themselves in their sustainable empowerment.

A better menstrual product!
I was very happy with my experience with Joni pads. They are the softest product I've ever encountered, comfortable and super absorbent. They provide a better product that's beneficial for women and our skin while also making sure it's a better for the planet with compostable wrappers! They have other period care products as well, very happy I got to try them out!

Organic bamboo pads
Joni organic bamboo pads are fragrance, chlorine and chemical free which is something I really look for in period products. Their bamboo is ethically and sustainably sourced, and the pads are made from biodegradable and compostable materials which means its good for the planet too. The pads felt very lightweight, comfy and soft.

I really loved joni Organic Bamboo Regular Pads. They were ultra thin, winged, ultra-comfortable, and provide stay-put protection. I loved that they were so soft and breathable keeping you dry. They have great absorption. I love that they are compostable and biodegradable. They were very comfortable.

Bamboo Pads
Joni organic bamboo regular pads, are very good, they’re super soft and very absorbent, they made me feel dry and the wings stay on perfectly.
I love that they are proudly Canadian and compostable.
It makes me feel good that I’m using a menstrual product that helps protect the environment.

Soft and absorbent
I love that these pads are mindfully made with super absorbent bamboo and are individually wrapped in a compostable wrapper. They are soft, thin yet still reliable, plant-based alternative that you can feel good about. Did I also mention they are a Canadian company - even more to love!

Great absorbency and organic to boot!
Joni Regular Organic Bamboo Pads are chlorine and fragrance free. I've never tried an organic menstrual product before as I assumed they wouldn't be as good with absorbency or comfort but I was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be switching over when I run out of my current ones.

Super absorbent and soft Joni bamboo pads & organic tampons!
I tried Joni pads and tampons recently and was quite surprise and impressed at how soft and absorbent they were compared to my usual brand. They are made with all natural bamboo and organic ingredients making it safe for me and the planet. I would definitely recommend them! A++++

I’m so happy these exist!!
I absolutely love these more than any other pad! They’re surprisingly thin AND absorbs very well!! I love how they feel too, it’s dry and doesn’t feel plastic-y or like I’m sitting on a blood soaked cushion. I give these out to friends too and they love it!

Organic Pad Heaven!!!
This organic pad was everything I hoped for. It is very soft and comfortable yet very absorbent and also with a beautiful thin sleek design so no more thick or bulky pads just pad dream heaven feeling like nothing is there.
