Past its best before date
It is difficult to fairly review this nut butter given I received it several months past the best before date. When contacted about this, customer service didn't seem to understand the issue since it wasn't actually expired. So if you purchase perishable items such as Justin's Maple Almond Butter, you can expect that the item might be past its best date for quality and freshness.
It smelled off and was separated so badly I had to mix it for about 15 minutes to get it back together. Of course, some level of separation is expected with a nut butter, but it was particularly bad in this case. It tastes OK. I find I have to mix it with jam to get it to a level of sweetness that is palatable for me. It is a bit pasty and a bit oily. Maybe if I find one that isn't past its best before I can give it another shake.

Why oh why put palm oil in this product?
The taste is off because of the palm oil. Palm oil extraction has gone out of control and is threatening multiple species with extinction including orangutans. Please don't buy products with palm oil unless they specify "SUSTAINABLE palm oil." These convenience products are destroying the planet.

Initially I was disappointed. I purchased this, ate a couple of spoonfuls from the jar, and was not too impressed. I am a fan of Justin's honey peanut butter, so I thought this would be good too. Put it away for a few weeks, and then decided to have it on toast. It was really really good on the toast. I just don't think it is great to eat out of the jar ... this is actually a good thing for me, as I have eaten a whole jar of almond butter in the past.

Love this Almond Butter
I love Justin's maple almond butter, I think it's the best almond butter on the market. It is quite expensive for a small jar, but it is a treat!

I don’t think I’d buy this again
I had high hopes for this. The texture of the butter is pretty firm… hard to spread. Not like regular almond butter tbh. No hint of maple.i can absolutely add my own but then what’s the reason for buying this.

very mild maple flavour
The taste and texture are great. It's a little bit crunchy so it might not be great for people who prefer a really smooth texture. My only complaint is that the maple flavour is barely there.

This almond butter tastes great! and doesn't need to be refrigerated so is always moist and room temperature which makes it very convenient.

Honestly love this product so much!! Flavour is amazing! Easy to spread! Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because of the price v. size.
