Mushroom enhancer
Porcini Umami gives a meaty flavor to mushrooms.
I make a vegetarian chili .
I pulse in a food processor a pound of cremini mushrooms until they resemble ground beef. I saute the mushrooms in a little oil along with a tablespoon of the Porcini Umami. When they are browned I proceed with my regular chili recipe.
I had to convince my family the chili was meatless. I also make my spaghetti sauce base the same way. Nobody misses the meat. Great in stews . Very versatile.

Put this on everything
This is one of my favourite Kanel spices, I put it on everything. It adds the perfect umami flavour to anything and everything. I put it on roasted potato's, pasta dishes, stir fry's, ramen, the possibilities are endless. Definitely worth the money!!

Great falvour booster!
I acutally add a heaping teaspoon of this to my wild rice and it gives is a delicate mushroom flavour. It's also great on mushrooms to enhance their flavour. Honestly I think it would be good in just about any meat dish as well!
