Kristin Ess is always looking for ways to play with pastel tones in the hair. This is the first ever in-shower watercolor that creates a temporary tone when sprayed on wet hair and then rinsed out. The intensity is up to you. When you spray it on damp, towel-dried hair it will soak up more color and last longer. If you spray it on wet hair it will give you a more subtle tone and will rinse out faster. The pink tone is most visible on pre-lightened/highlighted or blonde hair and washes out in 1-3 shampoos depending on the porosity of your hair.

1. Shampoo your hair and rinse.
- 2. Apply spray in the shower on wet hair. For a more intense pink color, towel dry the hair before you spray. For a more subtle hint of pink, spray it directly on freshly rinsed hair. (The less water there is on the hair, the more tone the hair will soak up. Think of your hair as a sponge! If its full of water it can only absorb a little color.)
- 3. Once you feel you've covered the hair you want to color, wait 1-2 minutes and then rinse.
- 4. Follow it up with your favorite conditioner or mask.

Color is nice. Application is awful.
Ok so would I buy it again? Yes.
But man this needs to be a cream or conditioner constancy. It’s a spray which it really hard to do in the shower. It’s hard to cover all your hair. The color is so nice but it came out pretty blotchy. The back of my head is barely covered. And I found so many blonde streaks.
That being said. I’d still buy it again because the color is great. If you have long hair expect to use the whole bottle.

This does *not* work on natural blond hair. I read/watched many reviewers for this product thinking it would work on my hair, but I think everyone who used it has some sort of bleach in their hair to make the tone cooler. I didn't realize that this product basically is a colour stain, so it can only really stick to hair that has been stripped of pigment in some way by bleach. My hair is a medium/light blond, and it didn't work even a little bit, and I tried several times. Nothing, nada.

It works on hair that has been bleached/lightened enough to pick up a pastel tone. I already had a rose gold
color done at the salon, but used this to intensify my color and it definitely worked, however it washed out pretty quickly within 1-2 shampoos. I found that I could get a bit more saturation of color by soaking it into dry hair and leaving for 10-15 mins before rinsing out. Not bad for the price point, but I would only repurchase if it was on sale. The bottle was enough for 3 applications for long hair.

I had a balayage done in my hair that lightened my ends quite a bit. This is a fun way for me to get that pink tint without making a permanent change. It doesn't show up really bright in my darker strands, but there is a subtle hue there too!

I found this product to be more pink on my blonde hair, than rose gold. When I think rose gold, I think touches of light peach/orange with light pink.
I did however, actually like the smell (it was strong though just fyi).
I also liked how easy it was to apply!
It lasted one wash for me (I applied it in the shower).
So, although it wasn't the colour I was hoping for, it was still a good product all around, for those looking for some temporary light pink tones.

Terrible scent and zero color
The chemical smell on my hair even after another thorough rinsing was so strong it kept me up all night. Even after 2 weeks of washing every other day I can still smell this lingering in my hair. And the worst part is, as far as I could tell it left zero color whatsoever. I followed the directions exactly, and I have medium blonde hair so expected just a hint of rosiness - no matter what light I tried I couldn’t detect a difference at all.

Love love love! I first saw Kristin Essâ products on Instagram and was sad to see they werenâÂÂt available in Canada. I bought it right away when I saw Well started to carry the product. And it was NOT a disappointment!!!! It is so fun, easy to use!!!! ItâÂÂs such a pretty blush pink and you can control the intensity which is nice. I highly recommend this for anyone who just wants to play up their blonde! ItâÂÂs amazing!

C'est Elsa Schiapparelli qui a inventé cette couleur qu'elle appelait le "Hot Pink". L'odeur puissante me rappelle un parfum des années 80 extrêmement fort, tel "Angel" de Thierry Mugler. Contient des aerosols chimiques polluants. J'ai mis ma bouteille dans la buanderie, où elle fera partie des expériences de teinture de vielle linge. Impossible de la recycler!

Waited patiently for this to be back in stock and was so happy once I received the notification that it was so I could order right away! Absolutely loved the product. I have light blonde hair so the first application was bright so I did wash again after application in the shower to dull it a bit and it was stunning. Will buy again once back in stock!

This works great on my light blonde hair. It took me a bit of time to figure out exactly where I wanted to spray the colour. I also feel that it is best to have your hair more dry, I tried it on damp hair first while I was still in the shower, and didn't feel that I got enough colour. It lasted me about a week once I stopped adding the colour.

Yikes! The smell....too strong. And the colour isn’t...
After reading reviews I used it on towel dried hair and left on for longer 5-7 min.
I have natural dark blond hair with light highlights- the colour is very sublet but it smells soooo much - very perfume heavy.
I generally use natural products so many I’m just overly sensitive. But after an hour it’s still so smelly!!!

Love the color this gives. Easy to apply. The mist is a bit messy so make sure you are in the shower. I did have to let it sit on for about 4-5 minutes to get a decent color as the first time I did it and washed out after only 2 minutes it was very faint... and I have bleached blonde hair.

I thought it was a great product, the colour looked fantastic and it lasted longer than I thought it would. However, I will say this...be careful that it doesn't stain the grout in your shower/bathtub...I learned this the hard way and now my shower has slightly pink grout near the drain :(

I love this product!! I have bleached hair, once i shampoo i do i quick towel dry, spray it on, leave it for abour 2 or 3 mins and rinse then apply conditioner. Stays in for a couple washes(slowly fading but still looks good!) Definotely buying again!

Looove this product! I found that if you want really noticeable results though to towel dry it thoroughly, wait a few minutes and then do a light rinse. I also added touchups on dried hair and didnt wash it out. Really pretty in blonde hair though!

Very easy to use and effective. I have dyed blonde hair and it picked up the colour lightly when damp and more vibrantly when towel-dried. When light it washed out after first wash but after 2-3 for the towel dried colour. Very fun!

I have dirty blonde hair with lighter hair in the front and this did nothing for me. I donâÂÂt notice any color at all. Also, I found the fragrance way too overwhelming and It gave me a migraine. IâÂÂll probably give this away.

Works on my bleached from black to blonde hair. Colour intensity does vary depending on how wet your hair is as advertised, but it's still not very intense. Bought this when it was half off, would not pay full price for this.

I really like this product for a temporary change. Your hair does have to be quite blonde for it to work. It's really easy to use (but messy, I spray it with my head in the shower). It makes your hair a lovely shade of pink!

This was alright, I found that with my shade of blonde, even after following instructions it was barely noticeable when dry. I sprayed some on a brush and ran it through my dry hair and it enhanced it to the shade I wanted.

Loved this and it definitely worked over blonde ombre, but it washed out after one shampoo. I would say if they could make it a bit more semi-permanent I would be totally in love. It's very subtle but nice.

I have highlighted bleached hair with mix of dark hair, and it gives subtle rose pink on the highlights. ItâÂÂs subtle even if i apply it on towel dried hair, but it gives cute and warm tone. I love it!

I applied to bleached hair. The application process is super easy and the tin had enough for 2 applications in my hair. The colour however was an intense pink. It was not a subtle colour in my hair!
