The photos of this mask did not make it obvious to me that the straps go around the back of the head, not behind your ears like I had wanted. When I went to put the first one on, one elastic strap broke very close to the mask, but it is the only one to have done so. However, it gave me the idea to snip all the straps and sew them back on as behind-the-ear straps. I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS COULD ALLOW GERMS AND DEBRIS THROUGH MY NEEDLE HOLES, but it is a chance I am willing to take. I only stitched through the very edge of the mask rim.
The masks themselves are great! They fit comfortably and snugly, and I am pleased with that part of them.

Perfect Mask
These masks are very comfortable and fit well. They do have over the head straps which is stated in the description and also if you look carefully at the picture, 2 straps are visible on either side. I prefer this style as they are much more comfortable to wear for longer periods of time. I also love the fact that these are made in Canada so they meet our regulations and I’m supporting our economy. They do run a little small so are a better fit for a smaller or medium sized face.
