Not what I expected.
I like everything that this company stands for including the ingredients and concern for animals and the environment. I have bought some of their other products which I will buy again. I can't say the same for this shampoo. :-( I tried it for the first time, and my hair took on a different texture. It felt like straw when I was shampooing it. I had to slather on conditioner in order to restore it to normal. There might be a bit of a shine on my hair, but that's about it. I do not like this shampoo at all, which is unfortunate since I wanted to support the company, it's a new bottle and cost more than I usually pay. I won't buy it again.

It's much better than I first thought, so I have revised my opinion!
I recently wrote a review. See below.
If I'd read other's opinions, I would have noticed that the straw-like feeling in the hair went away after another buyer used this shampoo for a few washes.
The same thing happened to me.
After the first shampoo, my hair felt coarse and hard to manage, but now that I have used Live Clean's Bali Oil several times, and I really like the way my hair feels. My hair is smooth and silky. It is noticeably softer long after it's dry, and stays that way until the next wash.
Bali Oil shampoo is gentle on the hair, and restores it to an even better condition. This IS a good product, and I will consider buying it again.

The Best Live Clean Shampoo
I've tried several of the Live Clean hair care line and the Exotic Shine is definitely the best one. It leaves my hair incredibly soft and luxurious. My hair is very easy to comb through and is wonderfully shiny after using this product. I also find I don't have to use as much on my long hair as with many other natural shampoos - the lather is great!
