Lundberg Brown Short Grain Rice
Lundberg Brown Short Grain Rice is a very flavorful, short grain rice which yields a stickier, softer product. It is especially good when a creamy texture or stickiness is desired, such as in puddings, croquettes, rice balls, paella, risotto.

Ingredients: Eco-Farmed short grain brown rice.

Cooking Instructions:

1 cup Lundberg Short Grain Brown rice
1¾ cups water or broth
1 tbsp. butter (optional)
salt to taste

Combine rice, water, and butter (optional) in a pot and bring to a boil. Cover with a tight-fitting lid, reduce heat to low-simmer, and cook for 45 minutes. Remove from heat (with lid on!) and steam for 10 minutes. Fluff with fork.

If rice is crunchy at the end of cooking time, it may be necessary to add 1-2 Tbsp. liquid and cook longer.

This is the best brown rice I have ever cooked or eaten. It plumps up so nicely and cooks quickly. It is superior to the leading brand name in stores and that one takes so long to cook.

All of the Lundberg rices are great but I am especially fond of this one. I cook it in chicken broth (or vegetable broth) and add a little olive oil and salt.
