They crafted all their chocolate in Saigon using purely Vietnamese ingredients of the highest quality.

I don't get much opportunity to try chocolate sourced from Vietnam so this was a nice treat. It's obvious that this is a high quality chocolate made with love & care. Even before I reach the chocolate, I am marvelled by the gold wrapping on the inside as I am unwrapping it. And the chocolate itself is just as beautiful, with a wonderful complexity that will whisk your taste buds to the lush green fields of Vietnam. The description on Well.ca calls this chocolate bar "spicy" but don't expect anything like spicy Mayan chocolate here. The flavour is much more subtle and uplifting (I found a different website that lists "sweet pea" in its flavour profile and I totally agree!). Excited to try the other chocolate bars from Marou!
