Love these! I initially purchased a similar product at the dollar store. Same idea, but these are WAY better! After owning a crappy set, I can tell you what I appreciate about the Melissa & Doug ones (aside from the obvious features of being great for travel & mess-free): I love that it has a little compartment to house the pen when it's not being used so it doesn't get damaged or lost. I also love that the water self-dispenses and the pens aren't squeezable so my kid can't squeeze out a ton of water to make a mess. They dry relatively quickly so they can be coloured again. I haven't had them long enough to be able to tell how well the picture boards hold up after repeatedly getting wet but for the price, I wouldn't mind buying more. Actually, I will be buying more anyway for a little variety! Both my 4 year old and 20 month old love these and I love that I don't have to worry about a mess in the car on road trips!

I bought 3 different designs of the water paint pad and my 2 year old daughter loves them. We love the fact that you can bring it anywhere and L the worry about the mess of colouring can create. Repeat customer and I would recommend for anyone with young kids.
