Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's OKAYYY. I brought this at least 2-3 months ago and have been using it everyday. I will say it is not a bad sunscreen, but to warn you, it did sting my eyes VERY BADDD. Even if I don't apply it on my eyes, but if there's a little water, it would burn for hours! But the texture itself is not too bad and apply nicely. But it gives a oily matte finish if you know what I mean. And it does contain avobenzone so I don't think that's the best ingredient.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Package Defect with Neutrogena Clear Face Sunscree I bought the Neutrogena Clear Face Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 just a month ago, and the top of the package has already split open. Very disappointing for a new product—please address this quality issue.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing. I am violently allergic to chemical sunscreen so I try any new mineral based sunblock that comes on the market. Though this product did not cause an allergic reaction it did cause a nasty breakout. It is far to thick and pasty and therefore clogs pores. It took three face washes to even get rid of the feeling I had a layer of tar on my face. I had high hopes for this product because many years ago Neutrogena had a very good mineral based sunblock simply called Sensitive Skin Physical Block. It was only spf 30 and the active ingredient was titanium dioxide. But it was taken off the market. I have yet to find a product anywhere near as good. This new product doesn’t come close and will join the pile of unusable sunblocks sitting under my bathroom sink.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Burns skin I do not recommend if you have sensitive skin. I used this product two days ago for the first time and my face is still red, burning and itching from this! its very annoying as I have to keep cooling my face down with cold water

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic for my sensitive skin! I break out in hives if I use anything over SPF 30, and I have very sensitive skin. Before I found this product, I simply could not apply sun screen to my face without experiencing severe discomfort. I have been purchasing this product for several years now, and the only problem I have ever had is that I can never seem to find the SPF 30 in Canada, so I need to purchase it on trips to the States. So thankful that I found this product closer to when it came out!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from When I tell you my face BURNED.... It burned SO bad when I put it on for the first time it brought tears to my eyes. My skin is not usually overly sensitive. I did not use any products with this that would have contributed to the burn. But my face flushed and burned for at least 3 minutes. I suffered through it because I didn’t want to wash my face again. 15 minutes later the burning is pretty much gone but my skin is still flushed. I’m scared to even use this on my body.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! I've gotten used to buying expensive department store brands for my skincare needs and have grown tired of the high cost. I decided to take a chance and try Neutrogena Clear Face 60 and I'm so happy I did! My skin looks BETTER than with my usual moisturizer once I put makeup on. It also helps cut down on shine, which I didn't expect. It's very light and has a very mild, inoffensive scent. This will be one of my regular buys from now on!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It Burns! I usually only buy natural cruelty free products, but I could not find a natural oil free face sunscreen so I bought this. Immediately was reminded why I only buy natural products. I don't even have sensitive skin and this stuff burns! My face feels like it's on fire and turns red! Do not buy this!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing i have sensitive skin,i choose my beuty product very carefully.i had expected Neutrogena to be different than other market product but i am disappointed using their clear face sunscreen that says-it won't cause breakouts-but actually it did cause breakouts on my skin!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Burns sensitive skin I use sunscreen every day after cleansing, vitamin c serum and moisturizer. I have sensitive skin and previously battled acne, dermatitis and some rosacea but was not broken out while using this. It caused painful burning all over my face and I ended up throwing out an almost full bottle. My husband doesn't have sensitive skin and it didn't burn him. If you're sensitive at all - avoid!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Life changer I cannot say enough about this sunscreen!!!! I have tried so many different sunscreen in the last few years and all of them made me break out all over my face, chest and back. My dermatologist recommended this one to me and I will never look back. It has seriously changed my life. I am no longer either broken out or sunburnt when I go on vacation. Thank you and please never stop making this!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Why It’s burns my skin just after I apply it I don’t know why but my experience with it is awful I bought it two months ago and give it enough shots to change my thoughts and experience but I am really disappointed with the results I don’t know why and which ingredient causes burns after use

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Irritating ingredients Why oh why did they put known irritants into a sunblock meant for acne prone sensitive skin? What is the point, to try and mask some chemical smells? Very let down by this product, it burns for hours after putting it on! Look at other website reviews for the truth on this sunblock.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from So far so good but could be better. Just purchased this and it’s my first two days using. So far the texture is great, doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily at all and it hasn’t irritated my skin. However, the smell has been so off putting.. Maybe it’s just my bottle but it smells like mothballs

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Burned my skin It burned my face as soon as I put it on. Not ideal for sensitive skins. The positive: no oiliness/greasiness. I will not be purchasing this again. Why doesn't Neutrogena make a super affordable sensitive skin sunscreen in the Canadian market?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PERFECT I have oily, sensitive skin and this sunscreen is the perfect product for me. It goes on easy; leaves a clear, matte finish; and does not cause breakouts. It is a perfect combination of effective, practical and attractive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing the only sunscreen I have used on my face I have used this sunscreen for around 10 years and its amazing on my face that is acne prone. Doesn't cause acne or redness, does not burn, goes on smoothly, just need a little bit. Its amazing, highly recommend it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not great! I started using this a couple of weeks ago and would not recommend to anyone. It leaves a white cast regardless of how much you blend it in and always stings my face giving me really watery eyes on some days.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from SO harsh on skin :( I can’t believe this is meant for skin not to break out. It burns so terribly and made my skin peel. I wore it 2 days ago and my skin is still recovering. Would not recommend if you have sensitive skin.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good when I first apply but bad when reapplying I've been using this for around two weeks and it always goes on so nice no white cast non creasy but when I go to reapply it starts pilling, leaves a white cast and starts to burn my eyes.
Date published: 2021-03-13
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for body I use this as body sunscreen as it leaves a bad white cast when used on face. It's not sticky or greasy at all when absorbed. It's unscented, and it does its job at preventing sunburns!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Burns Yes this works for not getting sun burn BUT as soon as I put it on my face, it started to feel like it was burning. Happened every time I used it, ended up throwing it out

Rated 5 out of 5 by from oil free I love this sunscreen, don't change it. It is the only one that doesn't migrate into my eyes. I haven't found anything better
