Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen SPF 30 delivers broad spectrum UVA/UVB sun protection and hydration with a water-light, refreshing feel. Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen helps prevent and reduce the risk of early signs of skin aging caused by the sun when used as directed with other sun protection measures.
This water-resistant sunscreen lotion with hyaluronic acid leaves skin moisturized and looking healthy. Hyaluronic acid is a skin hydrator that acts as sponge for dry skin, absorbing 1000x its weight in water.
Sun-Protection Measures-Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad-Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher, limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., and wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses.
Some active ingredients in sunscreens can breakdown due to the sun's UV rays, this causes them to lose their effectiveness. Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen SPF 30 uses HELIOPLEX technology to stabilize the sunscreen filters that protect against UVA/UVB rays. Perfect for daily use, this sunscreen is non-greasy, oil free, and layers invisibly under makeup. It is also non-comedogenic, so it won’t clog pores.

Directions of Use: Apply generously 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every 2 hours or after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating and right after towel drying. Children under 6 months: consult a doctor.

Strong scent, awful rash but goes on smooth/light
I was so excited to try this because Hydro Boost moisturizer is great. But within an hour of putting it on, it gave me a terrible, burning rash.
Good thing I tested only in a small area. It was such a nice texture too - I even thought it was my favourite sunscreen texture ever for that first hour lol (hence the two stars since it could work for others).
Pros: it goes on light, not as greasy as other sunscreens
Cons: DEFINITELY patch test as it’s not for everyone, strong scent if you’re sensitive

SO lightweight!
I have been using this for a while now and I love it for the most part. It is very lightweight, does not feel too oily and did not give me break outs despite being acne prone! The ingredients are also pretty great and I am impressed overall! And it is super affordable so I don't feel guilty applying a lot to ensure I have the best sun protection possible.
However, it REALLY stings my eyes and does not stay in place. I do my best to keep it away from my eyes but it migrates into my eyes mid way through the day. I am not sure if it's from sweating or what, but unfortunately that is the one reason I would not repurchase. I can't have my eyes stinging all day!
But if it becomes reformulated to not migrate and sting eyes while still keeping the same base of great ingredients-I would be the first one to buy it!

I applied it and thought that since it's Neutrogena that it would work well. I was in the pool at my friends cottage and it's funny. I felt like the product didn't protect me at all. I was light weight and absorbed into the skin very daily but it didn't work for me. I had to reapply throughout the day several times. I was not impressed. I will not use this product again as I ended up getting a bad rash from it. I will pass on this sunscreen thanks.

I was quite intrigued with the notion that this was a gel sunscreen as I’ve never used one before. I was pleasantly surprised by the texture of this sunscreen. It’s lighter than most other ones out there and doesn’t make my skin feel sticky. Unfortunately our weather has been yucky for the past few weeks but I was able to try it on a few sunny days and it offered great protection with no burning after over 2 hours in the sun. I’m excited to keep using this product all summer.

The gel cream goes on smooth & doesn't leave any white residue behind. It completely absorbs into your skin & you can't feel anything on your skin. The best sunscreen is one you can't feel at all- add that it moisturizes your skin too & you have the perfect sunscreen! It has a nice light fresh scent-not overpowering. And it completely works- I was outside & in the sun for a few hours & didn't burn. My husband is very fair & it worked well on him. I really love the scent of this product, it wasnt overpowering like some other sunscreens I used in the past.
The texture is nice and light and absorbed into my skin instantly. A little goes a long way when using this product. The best part of this product is the non greasy feeling and it DID NOT clog my pores. I used it on my face several times and it did not break me out! Best of all its SPF 30! This will be my new go to sunscreen all summer long!

It sits well under makeup without causing separation. I've used it both on my face and on my body and it really does the job well. I'm pretty prone to getting red before I tan and I was in direct sun with this stuff on and I didn't even look like I'd been in the sun, at all. Also, I sweat A LOT, yet I didn't have to reapply this sunscreen, which is very surprising to me, considering it's not sweat-proof. I would definitely recommend this sunscreen to my friends and family!

It feels like a very light lotion in your hands which is nice because I typically apply SPF over my moisturizer so I don't want it to feel heavy. I have dark skin so I am always weary about SPF leaving a cast on my face, but this one melts right in. It doesn't have an intense smell and its non-irritating. I let it sit for at least 30 seconds before going into makeup. My makeup sits right on top nicely and I don't notice any weird separations in either product. Definitely, recommend.
