Best Marzipan
Niederegger makes some of the world’s best marzipan to the high standards mandated by German marzipan laws (not joking!). It’s not too sweet - which makes eating the whole bar a serious temptation. The orange flavour and texture are lovely. So nice to be able to buy this from Well.ca.

Not very Fresh
I think this was an old bar. I can tell that the flavour and quality would be there in a newer bar of chocolate, but it's possible this one sat on shelves for a long time. It's too bad, I love the flavour combo or orange and choclate.

Not a good chocolate bar
This was a disappointment. We love marzipan but found this to be very dried out and extremely subtle in flavour. The chocolate was also dry, almost crumbly. The flavour was very bland and the quality of the chocolate was poor.

Was not good at all
The product was not good, it was discoloured from heat/cold and had almost no flavour. The chocolate tasted cheap and waxy. Very disappointed. Ritter Sport is so much better.

The BEST
I grew up with Marzipan treats at Christmas. Niederegger Marzipan is hands down the BEST tasting & best quality marzipan. It’s not too sweet, and natural tasting. I prefer dark chocolate with marzipan and this one with the added orange is really delicious!! My fave Christmas treat. I bought 2 bars and both were very fresh. To note : there is a tiny bit of alcohol in this bar.
