Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wish It Was Like My Mother's Mousse This mousse was a mixed experience for me - mostly bad, hence the 1-star. The product dispenses with a luxurious thick, creamy texture, which is a positive initial impression. However, the scent, described as citrus and jasmine, is barely detectable, to the point where it could be considered unscented. So if you're expecting a bright crisp clean citrus scent with notes of jasmine or vice versa, you'll be disappointed because it literally smells almost like nothing. The initial application feels good, leaving the hair feeling nice while wet. However, what happens when the hair dries is where the product fails big time. While the initial crunchiness is similar to my mother's mousse, after air drying my hair and running my fingers through it to break up the crunch, I noticed it left a sticky gross film on my hair, as if my just washed hair hadn't been washed in days. So I used the comb and when that didn't work I used a brush to try to comb/brush that sticky film off. It didn't work. This leads me to prefer "my mother's mouse" which does not make my hair feel sticky, dirty and gross right after I've washed it. So this product is a big NO for me.
