Biotin for nail growth!
I started taking 5000mcg biotin about a month ago as a last effort to grow my soft, breakable nails. I didnt have high expectations, but it appears to actually work!! All of a sudden my nails are rock-hard, and actually grow past my finger tips. I've gone 36 years with thin, bendable nails that either peel or snap off constantly, and this supplement is the only thing I've changed significantly.
(I'm also taking a biotin/collegen daily gummy with much smaller doses of biotin, but I'm convinced its the 5000mcg that is making the difference). And just to note, I've only just started taking this particular brand since my other brand discontinued their biotin supp. But its the same dosage.
I can't comment on hair growth since I have very long, thick hair already and didn't notice any difference.

Less hair in my brush
I've been using the 5000 mcg dosage for almost 2 years. Although I can't say that I have more hair than before, I can say that I find less of it in my brush.
