Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride Tablets 50mg

Directions: Adults and children 12 years and older: take half to 1 caplet at bedtime if needed or as directed by a doctor, if you experience persisting drowsiness after 1 caplet, reduce dose to half a caplet

Warning: Dosage warning occasional use only, do not exceed recommended dose unless advised by a doctor. Do not use in children under 12 years of age, if you are elderly and experience confusion at nighttime since this drug may produce excitation rather than sedation and should be avoided, with any other products containing diphenhydramine, even one used on skin. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have glaucoma, chronic lung disease, difficulty urinating due to enlarged prostate, are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking sedatives or tranquilizers, taking other medication. When using this product avoid drinking alcohol. Stop use and ask a doctor if sleeplessness lasts more than 2 weeks as this may be a symptom of a serious underlying condition. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a Poison Control Centre or doctor immediately, even if you have no signs or symptoms.
