Wow this new formula is terrible!
I thought it was just my hair that were dry, but no looks like it’s the new formula. I haven’t such bad curly hair in years. I’ve used Pantene for years and like others it’s the only product I felt made my culs nice, shiny and not frizzy. I would get so many compliments. Now my hair is a mess! I’m so disappointed and discouraged trying to figure out an alternate product that works without making your hair heavy and yucky.

New Formula is terrible!
I have been using this mousse since 2010 and it worked amazing. It was the only product on the market that made my hair look nice. Controlled the curls and managed the big hair (frizzy) I get when I do not use any mousse or any other kind of mousse. This new formula took me back to before 2010. My hair is horrible now. This new formula is horrible. PLEASE GO BACK TO THE OLD FORMULA!

So sad.
Been using the old product for about 20 years. Would get tons of compliments and recommend it to so many people over the years. Used the new one and 10 minutes after styling it look like I had no product in my hair. Felt like I was back in the 80’s with no hair products for curly hair. Please bring it back. I bought 3 and can’t return. Despite!!

I bought this thinking it was just new packaging. But no...once I used it I could tell immediately something was very different. So I had an older can to compare the formula and sure enough..it changed. Very unhappy like everyone else. The original formula is amazing but this new formula I can not use. Very disappointed!!

I need help I now at 61 have curly hair after a lifetime of straight hair. Chemotherapy took my hair and it is growing back super curly and I dont know what products to use this is all new to me and the experiments are getting expensive steer me in the right direction for care and maintenance I am tired of of the alpaca look

Just no.
I’ve been using Pantene pro-v’s maximum hold 5 for years and years. I noticed immediately the soft curls made my hair look different. I don’t want soft curls I want MAXIMUM HOLD as I have big thick curly hair! Please bring the maximum hold back... and it seems other clients feel the same way. thank you - a valued customer

New Formula is HORRIBLE
Why change a great product???? New formula produces crunchy, stringy, frizzy mess of curls. Used to be dependable and enhanced curls. Will NEVER purchase again and this makes me very concerned rest of Pantene products also will be disappointing. Begging you to bring back original formula.

I don’t know any other mousse that smells better!
But, I’ve bought 4 different bottles that I never got to use before the top applicator had to be broken when I purchased it. It just fell out after I gently shook it as one does when using any mousse’s. I, absolutely love the product! When I can get use of it…

The only product I use for my curls. I've tried every brand out there and this is the only mousse that doesn't make my hair crunchy or sticky. I have long, fine curly hair and this stuff is weightless and defines my curls. Don't ever stop making it please.

Bring back the old formula..this stuff is terrible
This does nothing for my curls. Frizzy, no control. I have been using pantene curl defining mousse for decades and now I have to go find something else. Whoever decided curly haired folks needed this 'soft and frizzy' formula was wrong. So very wrong.

I’ve been a loyal customer for as long as I can remember, never finding anything comparable for my curls. This new formula was the biggest disappointment. I will no longer be purchasing. I gave a 1 rating simply because it would allow my to give ZERO!

Don't Discontinue This!
Love this for my curls, it isn't heavy but still keeps my curls looking good all day. Prevents frizzing, smells good but doesn't dry out my hair or irritate my scalp. Doesn't make my hair feel crunchy or weighed down. Definitely a must have for me.

Been suing the curl mousse for years. It was the best product ever. You recently re formulated and it is horrible. I can’t believe how crappy the new mousse is. On the the hunt for anew curl product. Such a disappointment.

Product seems changed
The packaging used to say Curl Defining Mousse, it now says Shaping Mousse. The product itself does nor seem as thick, it is more watery.
