Model S3510/08 ComfortCut - Shaves Perfectly Fine
Charged it up in a hour and started shaving on battery. Power seemed fine as it took down growth about 1/8”. Did not pull and first pass took down pretty much everything. Have been using a very old corded model for 30+ years which keeps on ticking. Never needed to change blades. Just cleaned and seems to self sharpen. Amazingly durable. Classic.
Did not want the new designs that has the skinny neck which might snap if dropped. So went the tried and true design. We did buy our son a similar model 10 years ago and that one still holds a charge fine. But went this time with the corded and cordless option - as have always preferred corded for longevity. When cordless became available initially the battery technology was terrible as ours died within a year. So have stayed with corded since. Chose this specific model as it still has the old design shape and still can use a cord. Once stock is sold out these options may no longer be available. So trying cordless again - as can always use corded if needed.
Shave quality for me is perfectly fine and close. But have always used Electric Shave and finished with a dab of Face Cream. Has worked a charm. No burn - no problems - ever. Have never needed to wet shave. So shave dry then clean out the chamber each time. Also clean blades as required.
Hopefully these newer Lithium batteries will last a long time. As the durability of the NiMH batteries was not in question. Problem though was the 8 hour charge time.

All the features I wanted at a great price
I previously had an older Philips shaver (that lasted years and years!) and when the moustache/sideburn trimmer broke, I needed to find a replacement. In today's age or rechargeable, cordless shavers, it was not easy to find a corded shaver with a pop-up trimmer, but this model is exactly what I wanted. Works great!

Where can I buy another
I have owned this shaver for YEARS and the only reason I hit this site is that I want to buy the same one for the trailer. Use it every day and keeps its charge a long time. Dont want to try something else when I know this shaver won’t let me down

Worked well at first......
I purchased the PT710 as a back up budget shaver. I usually shave with a razor but sometimes a shaver is just the thing when you need to run out the door quickly and need a touch up.
It seemed like a decent little unit. I wanted a corded shaver as I find the cordless ones do not last long when used as infrequently as I shave with one.
It worked well at first, but after less than a year (of use once a week or less) the motor became slow and the unit just would not shave any more.
It has been cleaned regularly as per the instructions so this is not an issue.
I am rather disappointed that it would wear out this fast.
Since it is out of warranty anyway, I decided to take it apart to see if it could be fixed easily. No such luck, the motor is not reparable.
Quality just is not what it used to be.

Great low cost triple rotary-head shaver
Great low cost triple rotary-head shaver. Sacrificed having beard/side-burn trimmer for lower price, compared with other products available at retail.

Sometimes pulls hairs.
Average shaver. Pulls hair sometimes and as most other shavers do not shave the neck properly. Close shave otherwise.

This product is a poor example of the Phillips name
The cord is not the curly type Phillips used in the past and is a pain to store. The cutting heads seem dull as they pull on the stubble making the experience unpleasant. I no longer use the product after the first two weeks as I consider it a waste of money. I am totally disappointed in the product. I may have to switch brands in the future.

Good little shaver but very expensive blades
I like the design. Easy to keep clean daily. Smooth shaving. But wow... replacing the blades is sooooo expensive that it's not worth it to replace them. I give a big thumbs down to Philips because they just encourage people to buy a new shaver instead of just changing the blades. Very bad environmental practices. Otherwise, I would have given a 5 star rating.

This shaver is the worst!
I bought this shaver for my dad who is a long-time Philips user. I bought it based on customer reviews and the reasonable price, however, it does not work. It powers on, the heads move but the number of times he has to go over his face to actually shave is unacceptable. We have retrieved his older shaver from the garbage and will be using it instead.

Disappointed
I’ve had this razor for several years. I used it occasionally but preferred a straight razor. Upon trying to use it again it does not work. It makes a sound likes its dying.... as I used it very little I’m very disappointed. I paired a pretty high price for it thinking it would last me a lifetime ??

Very easy to use, gives very close shave
Have had shaved for 2 days now works great, close shave and quit and easy operation. I mixed up the cutters and shaving guards by accident this evening. Put everthing back together. Haven't noticed any difference in performance
Can't understand why cutters and shaving guards aren't labelled

Abysmal shave for a new product.
This 3000 model had " NOT " been a good purchase. After 5 minutes of shaving the ammount of stubble left over is incredible considering the unit and blades are brand new.
My older model STILL does a 100% better job with years old blades than this new month old model. Poor Shave !!!!!

Don't bother if you don't use this everyday
I bought a philips razor maybe 15 years ago, for occasional use. So when I say occasional, i mean I charge it, and used it occasionally (ever 4 weeks) for the next 6 months on the same charge! The blades never needed changing, and every now and then I would need to charge it. Finally, after over almost 2 decades it stopped working.
So, I thought now that it's 2019 that there will probably even better ones, that I can use for the next 10 years. (I was wrong) I bought the Philips 3000.
1) They made it more complicated to remove and put back the blades. Why? I don't know, change for the sake of change?
2) Every time i want to use it, i have to re-charge it!! This is by far the worst feature. As I said, i'm an occasional user, so i need the battery to hold it's charge, like the philips razor i bought almost 20 years ago. But no, the 2018/2019 models holds a charge for exactly 30 min, while using or not using. I'm assuming all Philips are made with this poorer design these days, I think it's time to change brands.

Great value for the price
The price was very reasonable. The shaver felt light, which usually means poor performance. Instead to my great and pleasant surprise, the shaver does the job. Quickly and quietly.

Powerless
Even when fully charged, feels and sound like it has little power.
Shaves the face OK but tugs on the neck leaving irritation.
For the price I paid, it's not a bad product.

Excellent
I have a thick beard growth with sensitive skin and this shaver does a great job. There seems to be no need for a sideburns trimmer. This shaver is excellent value for money.
