Lasted less than 3 years
I am disappointed with how quickly this brush broke. I had this brush for less than 3 years and the metal shaft where the toothbrush head goes broke. The company will not repair toothbrushes, so this is a waste from an environmental perspective. All they were willing to do for me was offer a miniscule discount of 20% off a new one. For such an expensive toothbrush I would expect it to last much longer.
I will say for the time it was working I love the brush. It made my teeth feel significantly cleaner than a manual or cheaper electric brush.

A stunning tooth brushing moment
While receiving suggestions to try a mechanical tooth brush over the years and dismissing the suggestions out of hand as a waste of money,when a friend,a dental hygienist insisted I try the Philips,I relented.And was zi glad I did!The experience has been phenomenal and I am looking forward to my next dental appoint with great pleasure as the results have been fabulous.Everything about the brushing activity has been enhanced as has the results.
I recommend the Philips Sonicare without reservation as complete value for the expenditure.

Great Product until warranty ends
the Sonic toothbrush does a great job of cleaning and maintaining teeth, especially when you don’t have the dexterity to use a regular brush. Unfortunately, we continue to replace them with 1, 2, and 2.5 years, just after warranty expires. They just don’t last as long as you would expect for such an expensive toothbrush.

Excellent Product
I owned one of the first Soniccare products and really liked it. When it died, I looked at both the Oral B product and the Soniccare 6100. I chose the 6100 because of my past experience with Philips products and with the Soniccare in particular. The 6100 was a giant leap forward in technology and overall brushing experience. It cleans even better than my old model. There's nothing like the feel of clean, polished teeth and the 6100 excels at this.

The product worked well BUT for 2 years only
It worked really well for the first two years. However, after that, the battery performance declined significantly. Now, my toothbrush needs to be recharged after only three days of use. Also, it's vibrating less powerfully, and the metal shaft where the brush head fits is loose. Luckily, I had six more months of extended warranty, so I got a replacement toothbrush handle. But yeah, I did have higher expectations for such an expensive toothbrush.

The toothbrush itself is fine and does what it's supposed to do......clean my teeth. The seemingly relentless request from Philips for a review are unacceptable and really over the top. Why is it that I can't spend a bunch of money on a great toothbrush and just brush my teeth? Next time I may purchase with the competition.

Delighted with new toothbrush
Easy to use, great features that feel like they make a noticeable difference. The vibrations work much more effectively than my old Sonicare did, and I find myself not pressing at all, compared to on my old brush. The charge also seems to last a decent amount of time. Only negative is that the brush takes such a long time to fully charge, and although this is part of the design, these days 24 hours to charge the brush is just way too long!

Product is excellent!
I like how it has great features like gum care which I normally use at night because it runs for 3 minutes. The "clean" feature runs for 2 minutes which is what I use every morning. I use the number 2 intensity instead of 3 because I feel like 3 is too intense for my gums. I haven't tried switching to a different brush head yet but I'm pretty satisfied with the W2 brush head.

It is funny to receive a request for a review after it has stopped working. Regardless, this was a Christmas 2019 gift for my wife. She loved it and found it did a remarkable job. She found the highest intensity to much for her personally, but switched from mid to low frequently. She was very impressed with the 'back from the dentist' feel of clean. So as a result, I purchased a step down model, then we also got one for each of the kids. Long battery life on these devices. Quite impressive. The 'quad' beeps aid with keeping good coverage on each area. Takes some getting used to using it on front incisors, as it gets quite loud. Note that Philips has gone beyond kind and has been trying to replace the unit for us, I am just waiting for a replacement receipt, ink faded. Lastly, use ONLY the Philips replacement heads, a relative gave us some overseas knockoffs which do not work and fall apart in seconds. All in all a great product.

Good clean...
I do love the clean. Effective brush. Had to return twice under warranty because the metal “drive stick” had loosened inside. The resulting symptom is significantly reduced cleaning effectiveness and a floppy, loose brush head. Customer service was effective, but I dont think I should have to deal with this more than once. Likely a faulty design.

Very happy with this toothbrush
This toothbrush works very nicely. It replaces one by another manufacturer which stopped working and can't be replaced as they are discontinued. So this was an experiment with a different manufacturer's product. Happily, it produces the speed, intensity and brushing action that I was hoping for, so I am delighted with it.

I missed my Philips Sonicare Toothbrush
My previous Sonicare toothbrush no longer charged anymore. I used a conventional toothbrush instead for awhile. There is just no comparison! I missed the gum cleaning feature and could hardly wait to have it back! I highly recommend this toothbrush, as I thoroughly enjoy this brush much better for my dental care needs.

Powerful, worth the price
Multiple cleaning settings , each with 3 speeds, excellent, but high speeds take getting used too. Only con, change pause could be followed by a sound, chirp or chime, as some people may not be able to detect the change zone pause in the cycle. Cleans better than any other electric we have had, thank-you

Great Product
I love my Sonicare. It makes my teeth super clean without much effort. It took me a couple of days to get used to it, as I have never used an electric toothbrush. But now I am very comfortable with it and have bought one for my husband and one for each of my kids. Even my 3 year old loves it.

Work in progress
Used an Oral B dual clean for many years. I am having difficulty getting used to the smaller softer brush head. Just feel like my teeth and gums are not getting or staying clean between brushes. I'll keep trying. Real test will be at my next dental checkup/ cleaning.
