Sterile antibiotic treatment for external infections of the eye/ear, such as conjunctivitis, or “pink eye”. For eye infections, apply 1 – 2 POLYSPORIN® EYE & EAR DROPS in the affected eye 4 time a day, for 7 – 10 days. Eye drops are suitable for all ages. For ear infections, apply 1 – 2 POLYSPORIN® EYE & EAR DROPS in the affected ear 4 times a day for 5 – 7 days.
Polysporin Eye & Ear Drops kill the bacteria causing the infection and help relieve redness and itchiness associated with bacterial pink eye. Polysporin Eye & Ear Drops can also be used to treat swimmer's ear.
Dosage: 1-2 drops in the infected eye or ear 4 times a day.
Cautions: If irritation occurs, or in case of serious infection, or if infection has not started to clear in 2 days, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Consult a doctor before use if the cause of the pink eye is unclear, or if there is a marked sensation of something in the eye, sensitivity to light, continuous abundant discharge, pain in the eye, impaired vision, severe hearing loss, or fever.

IT WORKS
I woke up with an itchy, crusty slightly reddened eye. I went to the pharmacist and he recommended to try these eye drops. After 2 doses it felt less uncomfortable and after 4 doses it feels much much better. I plan on continuing to use for a few more days.

Works well for some others allergic
Worked well for my 4 year old son. When I use it my eye immediately becomes extremely red and irritated. Very painful in addition to pink eye. I was previously able to use this product but since new formulation and packaging I cannot any longer. I seem to be allergic to something that was changed. My sister has a similar reaction as well and she was also able to use old formulation. My daughter as well.

Very good product.
I would totally recommend these eye drops! I had this bump on my left eye that turned out to be a sty, making my eye swell up. I went to the shopper drug mart, asked for something to help, and they handed me these magical eye drops. I used them four times a day… within a day, the mucus from the sty came out overnight, giving me total relief the next day.

NO Where to be found in Ontario
Can not find polysporin eye drops no where at any pharmacies in southern ontario they tell me its a manufacturer problem what is the problem? where can I find some? and how soon will it be in the pharmacies?

Eyes burning worse than welders arc flash
I had a small stye on inside of one eyelid so Pharmacist recommended this as it had an anti biotic and would work better the the stye drops . The stye was a very small irritation as compared to the burning in both my eyes that I am presently feeling , it woke me up and here I am at 2 am after going online to see if there was any other issues with other customers and there appears to be many . I have flushed my eyes with water and used sterile drops .

The only thing that is clearing my son's pink eye.
It stings him quite a bit, but it is the only drops helping him, including two prescriptions. Conjunctivitis is sometimes a guessing game because bacterial and viral can look the same, and bacterial can be different strains. I'm glad I found this, and glad it works. My kiddo is a trooper.

I’ve used this a number of times over the years and it seems to do the trick. It’s a bit pricey but worth it to me. Those reviews saying they are having issues should absolutely make sure they are using the right product for their symptoms. Sometimes all you need is a warm compress.

I recommend this product to people all the time!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We've had a few stretches of pinkeye in the house, and because it's so contagious, when one person gets it, more always follow! I originally found out about this product in the US when we lived there, and you needed a prescription to get it which was annoying. When we moved back to Canada I was delighted to see it available on the regular shelves. We always have a bottle on hand, not only for pinkeye but also swimmer's ear which we've also had. I have recommended this product to other parents countless times, and everyone is always so delighted with how quickly it works!

Great stuff

Makes the eye worst
This product was hard to find and did not work.After putting them in you feel fine next your eyes burn up ichting.I found that my eye was rEd in the morning then I put them in fine then before bed the morning my eye was all puffy and I looked like my eye couldn't open....NOT WORTH THE TIME AND MONEY!!

Painful
Just bought this a few weeks ago in case my kids ever get pink eye. So the time came to use them last night when my sons eye turned pink and says he has burning sensation in his eyes and hurt when he blinks.
As soon as I gave him the drop, he started screaming in pain. I would really like to know if this is expected or if I should stop use immediately. The redness in his eyes got better following use but the pain really concerns me.

I had a stye on my eyelid I left for a day or two without treating. The pharmacist recommended this one compared to the natural eyedrop option. One day later my stye was draining. I do agree with other reviews that it stings and made my eye red but it wasn’t worse the the stye pain itself.

Wish ointment was still available
The drops do not work well for me, cause burning sensation and do are slow to help. Please bring back the ointment it was fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone!

Fabulous product, works quickly, but hard to find.
This is a fabulous product which works quickly to relieve the itch and other symptoms of pink eye. My only issue is that I often cannot find it at my local pharmacy.

Great Products to Keep on Hand
I have never had any problem with Polysporin Eye Drops or Polysporin Ear Drops. I always carry both of these in my travel medication bag since we had to use the Ear Drops for a very bad ear infection my husband got in France in 2018. Before each trip I check the expiry date and replace if necessary. It is a minor expense compared to getting medication in a foreign country.

This product stings so bad!
I have a pink eye for the first time. My friend recommended this drop and I bought it right away as I didn't have a chance to go to my Dr. The first drop was OK. The next 2, 3, 4th drop, it was stinging so bad. I really hope it gets better or at least will make the pink eye go away.

Prolonged stinging
My doctor recommended these eye drops to me as I am having eye irritation and he thought I might be developing an eye infection. However, after application these eye drops left my eyes stinging for over an hour, the next day my eyes felt dry and irritated. I had to discontinue use.

Works so fast!

Made my eye worse
I have had pink eye years ago. When I woke up this morning I knew it was pink eye again. It's Sunday so I thought I'd try these drops. As soon as I put the drops in my eye it burned and continued to do so. My eye actually looks worse now than when I started.

This product works and works fast!

Worked very well
I scratched my eye a week ago, something stuck under my contact lens I believe, and a day later my eye was very red. Symptoms increased and pointed to pink eye. Been using these drops for the past 6 days and am very happy with the results. Symptoms subsided after about 3 days of the recommended use but I will continue to treat for one more day to be certain it is healed.
