Featuring a HEAL-FAST Formula, POLYSPORIN COMPLETE Antibiotic Ointment provides pain relief and infection protection to speed healing of minor cuts, scrapes, and burns. Containing lidocaine hydrochloride for fast-acting pain relief and three antibiotics to ward off infection, POLYSPORIN COMPLETE Ointment provides infection protection that works. Using this ointment with a sterile dressing helps minor wounds heal four days faster than with a dressing alone. Apply the non-staining, odorless ointment one to three times daily for infection protection to help speed healing. This ointment comes in 15-gram and 30-gram tubes.
Directions: Cleanse: Clean affected area. Treat: Apply POLYSPORIN® COMPLETE Antibiotic Ointment to the area one to three times daily. Cover: Apply a sterile bandage, such as BAND-AID® Brand Adhesive Bandage, if available.Cautions: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes; if this occurs rinse thoroughly with water. Do not use over large areas of the body, in deep or puncture wounds, on animal bites or serious burns, or for more than seven days unless directed by a doctor. If irritation occurs discontinue use and consult a doctor. Store between 15°C and 30°C.

Medicinal Ingredients: Bacitracin zinc (500 units per gram), gramicidin (0.25 mg per gram), lidocaine (50 mg per gram), polymyxin B as sulfate (10,000 units per gram). Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Butylated hydroxytoluene, CEL-ACTIV (Vitamin E, sodium pyruvate, cocoa butter, cotton seed oil, olive oil), petrolatum.

Pain Relief and Polysporin - perfect pairing
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Polysporin a with pain relief really does help minor cuts heal more quickly. I had a paper cut and used this to help the pain and to try to heal it. It did provide some relief. I will purchase this same product again.

Speedy recovery

It Does What It's Supposed To

Smooth Application
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This polysporin was great on its own, as I applied it to a few knicks and scratches, however I could not get the plastic band aid to stay on once it was applied and a found it a slightly bit watery out the tube.

I use polysporin a lot for myself and my dog! Yep my dog! Our vet recommended putting a bit on if he gets a hot spot or something on his paws. I just put on an inflatable cone so he is comfortable and apply the polysporian for an hour or so. It works so great!

No More Painful Healing of Cuts

Great wound healer
My family has been using Polysporin for many, many years. Growing up in a family with 7 kids there was always one of us needing medical attention. My Mom always turned to Polysporin and I have continued on with the tradition with my own kids and grandchildren.

Great for split skin on hands

Works great!

The Magic Ointment
I never heard about this product until last year when I fell and scraped my knee really bad. My friend bought it for me and told me to use it every time I clean and change bandaid. I remember my wound have been hurting really bad for two days and I couldn't even walk. On the third day I put some on and I actually doubt it would do any good but about a few hours after I noticed that I can barely feel the pain anymore just only when I'm walking. The next day, the pain was completely gone. On the fifth day I stopped using it and it was healing quite well and once it was almost completely healed, I didn't get those itchiness you would get when your wound is healing. I am very amazed with this product. I usually get inflammation, itchiness, and redness from any cuts or scrapes but when I used this antibiotic ointment I didn't get any of those and most importantly, I barely had I scar. There is just a hint of discolouration on my knee but it's not noticeable. Overall, this is a keeper and I think everyone should have one in your house.

Pain-free and heals fast!

Takes away the pain!

It does its job, but I dont see a major difference

Great healing properties
