Where's the Margherita Part?
The ingredients in this are identical to the regular Rao's pizza sauce.
In the part of Italy where my family comes from, Margherita pizza sauce is a very basic onions, tomatoes, salt, oregano. No garlic because the garlic overpowers the delicate taste of a Margherita pizza. No pepper, no carrots, nothing else.
