Containing 10 milligrams of antihistamine cetirizine hydrochloride, these tablets work quickly to relieve runny nose, sneezing, itchy, watery eyes caused by seasonal allergies, and itching due to allergic skin reactions, such as hives. The tablets dissolve in the mouth without water, eliminating the need to swallow a pill. Not only that, they help your child experience lasting, all-day relief without causing drowsiness. This package contains 24 orally dissolving tablets.
Dosage: Children 6 years of age and over: 1 tablet every 24 hours.

Amazing relief FAST - but doesn't last
My 7 year old's seasonal allergies are brutal and painful. Her eyes swell and she develops 'allergy shiners (black eyes)'. This product gets her back to herself. With regards to speed and efficacy, this product is PERFECT. But we are in huge trouble for the 8 of the 24 hours the product doesn't work for. She will wake from sleep when the medication wears off. The doctor said to supplement with Benadryl when needed, but that is not nearly as effective. And the prescription eye drops don't seem to aid to the same degree as the Reactine.

Great Product for my 8 year old in the mornings
Please note - I am not being "paid" to do this review. But, this last season has been brutal with seasonal allergies in my daughter who is 8. Our allegrists suggested we use the fast melt for her - been AWESEOME!
She now can go to school and not look like she is crying. She actually wants to play outside.
But - why isn't it available everywhere?

Im a drug sensitive adult and I suffer from horrible seasonal allergies. I've tried taking adult medications but found the side effects were worse than the symptoms. I thought I would try the children's version of reactine and found that, yes it works, however the drowsiness effect made it so I can only take it closer to bedtime. How do kids function taking this during the day? The medication tastes like rockets candy, melt very fast but can lead to a bitter after taste so a nice juice drink will help with that. It started to relieve symptoms within 20 minutes for me but the sedation effect hit after about 30 min. If you just trying this I would suggest giving it to you child when you have no plans to do anything just in case your child needs to sleep it off. Not a bad product just wish it wasn't a sleeping aid ( at least for me ).

Works fast!
Works extremely quickly. Wouldn’t say it lasts 24 hours though, I would take one tablet at 9:00 AM and by 3:00 it would start wearing off and that would be when I take my eye drops. Definitely cures symptoms fast.

Not as fast relief
My son just turned 6 this year so I tried using this because it’s easier to store and carry around. Tonight we tried it because he had a sudden hives episode. Usually with the syrup he could feel the relief right away, but tonight he’s complaining about the itch more than 30 min after he took it. The hives also didn’t right away go down like when we gave him the syrup.

Great taste
Our youngest son is asthmatic and has multiple triggers. So to help control his triggers he use a allergy medicine. After trying different brands this one has been amazing for him.

My son can finally go back to school!
We were using another product with no success for 3 weeks on my son who is 6. It got so bad we had to take him out of school for 4 days, and after speaking with our allergist he suggested we change to the Reactine fast melt for kids and a couple other things and WOW what a difference! He back at school!
